I don’t usually do this but I am very disappointed in the compassion and care of Dr Ria. I went away from bulk billing doctors to find a doctor that I could trust and stick with long term. I got lost and was 5 minutes late to my first appointment so I completely understood that the appointment had to be cut shorter however, the second time I was early and it was no different. Still felt like I was rushed out of there. I felt very uncomfortable bringing up new issues and did not feel like she wanted to hear or understand anything about me. Money is not an issue when you’re paying for a good service so I gave it another chance.. but in the end it was definitely not worth the 3 appointments and expensive medication she prescribed me without warning. I would not recommend. On the other hand the clinic itself was very nice and clean and the staff were friendly
Saw Dr Nicholas Cox, very friendly, approachable and professional. Have not had this level of care from a GP before. The clinic is modern and clean. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Dr Inga was brilliant and assisted me with kindness and openness. Unfortunately, I had to remove a star for how rudely the blonde receptionist treated me. She seemed to not believe I held a Medicare card and questioned me over and over as if I couldn’t understand what she was saying. It was strange and demeaning. After my appointment, a new receptionist was there and was lovely.
I’ve been seeing Dr Inga for years, at another practice and QSMC, and I’m so happy that she is now a part of the team at QSMC! The receptionists are always so lovely and helpful, and the other doctors that I have seen when Dr Inga is unavailable are fantastic. I moved an hour away and their telephone consults have made it so much more accessible to speak to my doctor when I need to! Great price especially for an inner-city medical practice and great staff!
Great medical clinic in the heart of Brisbane city centre. The medical staff are very polite, helpful and do a great job of putting you at ease ever step of the way. Likewise, support staff in the clinic's reception area are very friendly and efficient. One issue is finding the building the medical clinic is in, the 141 can take a little finding, the corridor to the elevators is right next to Swarovski. The doctors clinics and the nurses clinic are all beautifully clean and tidy, which helps you feel at ease about whatever condition needs attention. Queen Street Medical Centre is definitely a great option if you are seeking quality medical care in Brisbane.
Dr Ria is the most professional and diligent Doctors that I’ve ever encountered. I appreciate that she is straight to the point but also compassionate. Highly recommend seeing Dr Ria at Queen St Medical Practice!
We flew into Brisbane for medical checks not knowing where to go I took to google to do a doctor. This medical group has several doctors that specialize in different areas. Booking an appointment is so easy to do online. You can choose from a 15minute to a 30minute. They are located in the heart of the CBD. They are very punctual for appointment times. There is also a radiology and lab in the same building so it makes the visit super convenient for an out of towner. We saw Dr. Warfe and Dr. Amos both outstanding doctors.
I have been attending this surgery since 2015 and I could not be any happier with the service, professionalism and patient care I have experienced during that time. I’ve seen multiple practitioners at the centre including Dr Bolster, Dr Warfe, Dr Amos, Dr Weissenberger and Dr Cattanach. I find them all to be very knowledgeable, attentive and compassionate to my circumstance at the time. This can also be said for the wonderful reception team. My husband and child now attend the centre and I find myself frequently recommending them to others. Do yourself a favour and disregard the negative google reviews, they are absolutely not a correct representation of the centre!
The establishment is modern and clean. I had two appointments with Dr Ria Warfe. The second time was after a car crash, which was not caused by me. But this doctor always talks in a condescending manner. And more importantly, she lacks compassion and empathy. She did check my physical health well enough but emotionally, she did not care at all. Dr Inga Atrens is ok. I’m not sure about other doctors. But after three appointments, I think my disappointment is justified.
I always make my appointment with Dr, Ria and I’ve always waited 10-15 mins for my appointment. I was late 8 min for the appointment yesterday and the receptionist refused me to see Dr. And asked to reschedule my appointment. I’ve not been well and wanting to hear my result so badly and wanting to get the treatment asap so disappointed
