Don’t go here! You will be scammed! This happened a while ago and couldn’t report it to the police because didn’t have proves but I went to fix my laptop, took almost a month to “fix” it with me calling them every week and telling me they were gonna finish soon. the day I went to pick it up told me it was gonna cost 3 times more of what they told me initially but I payed when I realised they scratch my laptop and after 30 mins my laptop started to malfunction again and even worse than before!!!! When I went to ask for my money back they didn’t take responsibility for anything.On top of that, he made fun of the fact that I couldn't do anything about it! I am sharing my experience so it doesn’t happen to you.
I took my printer here, a common Brother model. Apparently it had an issue with the motherboard. Told me they could never find the right part to replace it. Next place I took it to Citywide Tech sorted it out immediately. The worst part was that they never called me back in 2 months - believing that a 1000+$ printer is just done and that I didn’t need to know about it. Nice guys and all but the least I require is that you actually care
Went in on Thursday quoted $450 for repair. Came back today and suddenly the same workers pricing is $599. Would love to see the pricing list as felt like pricing is chose to as they feel. Disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend
Computer not working told I had a 'power surge' paid $180 and came home still not working. It turned out it was the power adapter which hadnt even been checked neither had the battery as was flat. When returned with the computer very annoyed he "gave" me an over large adapter that he had been using. When the so called power surge happened my computer had not being plugged in. No invoice just eftpos receipt from Megatech?
Boss in this shop said mother board and hard of my com was broken and I bought used one in here. When I connected it to my TV by HMD, sound was not working. I required refund but he refused. So I decide to use other sound cable. But this com was broken after some days. Boss changed other com but the speed too slow so that I can not use this com normally. I had required my original hard disk that was taken by boss because it was included private information. He said I don't need to concern it because hard was broken completely. But I required and test it by using the tool in my home. It was working. When I want to refund it , The boss should refund not related to working. I went there for refund just 3 days after purchasing. It's acting was not normal in that time. And He cheated about my original Hard disk.
Took my lap top in for them to back up my hard drive, only to discover later they copied only one directory... but I had paid $190 for them to back up the whole thing! As a result I was missing important programs and files. Then they refused to accept any responsibility, after having taken my money, and tried to say it was my fault! They never even gave me a proper invoice for work done, only an EFTPOS receipt. I will never ever go here again. So appalled.
After and initial misunderstanding. QMB reached out and resolved the issue without any hesitation. Perhaps we both jumped to conclusions too quickly. Fantastic service and great prices. Definitely will be back to get my MacBook fixed. Highly recommended!
Hate to say it but worst place I've dealt with in a long time. Guys is Imcompentent in the trade. Asked them look why my laptop screen  is not coming on,otherwise my laptop  is working fine  I was using the T.V monitor  to work on my laptop,They had it for 3 months. I did all to calling  and checking  up most of the time the guy was clueless . Then after 3month they give my laptop  back now its not working  at all .He tells me my LAPTOP  was old and dying and it my fault. So instead I should  buy one of their second  hand computers.NOW I  FEEL THE WORK IS DONE CONSCIOUSLY SO THEY CAN SELL YOU A  SECOND HAND LAPTOP
qmb computers in royal oak helps a lot of people in onehunga. theve restored my laptop every time owen asked for help. also jacky,alex and the team work like trojans.. i bought my first smart fone at the mobile phone shop in the mall galaxy s3 but it was so sensitive and sophisticated that i had trouble using it ? so i decided to courier it over to my sister in te puke .then i tried the warehouse for a laptop but instead purchased a notebook which is really designed for internetting ? i took it back and grace refunded all my credit so then owen tried ultimate pc in trafalgar street for a used laptop but it was less expensive though needed replacemant battery and charge lead. it was really good to use and to set up,as im still learning to use them. after a time i installed a wireless mouse usb hub and some other accessories to , since then i,ve bought another notebook i gave to my brother in rotorua pete,for his kids to use and also a dell desktop for experimenting on and learn on as its got good system management installed on it. a used vodafone and two degrees usb broadband since then but they use a lot of data. what owen would like to try is to connect his laptop toshiba satellite professional 500 and the dell optiplex ? using usb lead ,usb hub or some other attachmant like device or ill have to make my own lead to plug into the dell ports and the toshiba ? does any one know if dick smiyh or anyone sell a connection for intergrating a laptop and desk top/
Dropped off iPad air with battery problem, needed replacement. Unfortunately it wasn't just battery, it was motherboard problem. They provided fully refund as per " No fix no charge".
