Having a loyalty card here pays off, they treat their customers so well! Please don't lend books to friends, get them to buy them so bookstores like QBD can keep going, and authors who we love will also get paid for doing what they love

It is a nice quaint shop and because it is a small business I am happy to trade with them. The range of books were reasonable for any small business which seems to have the current books that is required.
A handy book supermarket. New releases - check. Sci-fi section - check. Crime, military, hobbies, Australiana, travel, biographies, sports, sportsmen's biographies, autobiographies of sportsmen, sportsmen's autobiographies written by themselves during lockdown. Check. Books for a child. Check. Books for a man-child. Check. Cooking, cheffing, catering, cafes, coffee, cuisine and critique books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauruses and thesaurii. Sales clerks talking on their smart phones about books not in store to people not in store. Check. Manga.
Not a bad little book store in a world hostile to the old tradition. Admittedly I am an E book user, haven't bought a hardcopy book in about five years and I am an avid reader. Ebooks have changed my life as I always had to order the books I required anyway. Instead of waiting weeks I now have the books I desire instantly. That said if you are still into the book store this one isn't to bad. Check it out.
A good bookshop with prompt efficient service. Coverage of fiction, non-fiction and their sub-genres is as you would expect in a mid-sized shop. Located in a major suburban mall so you can do all your shopping under one roof. There is excellent access by public transport and ample car parking.
Buy books from QBD, they're an Australian owned company with a rich history. Their prices are great, selection is excellent, they can order in a wide range of titles, plus you can feel good that your money is actually going to the authors of those books, and not buying at a department store, and essentially stealing the book.
Great selection of books, along with friendly staff makes the place an amazing place to visit. Would get a 5-star if they have an even larger range of books.
Just a wonderful book store. Heaps of variety and well priced. Easy to lose yourself amongst all the text..helpful staff and friendly.
