Absolutely wonderful place to relax before your flight & especially impressed that they cater to Ciliac Disease rather than just the choice of being Vegan or vegetarian. The staff are lovely & always helpful & happy & it always a pleasure & privilege to be treated a someone special these days.
Great place to visit prior to flying. Staff are very friendly, the club is always clean & tidy & the food is good. Many a little more variety, but it is still nice. I look forward to my Qantas club visits.

Always head to airport a little early, get bags through and then chance to sit and relax with some food and a good coffee. Staff are lovely, this is worth the extra few dollars when travelling.

What full service airline opens check out 2 hours early recommends you check in 90 minutes before the flight and the lounge opens 40 mins before boarding. Money not well spent on Qantas club
Qantas lounge membership is $600 per year. You expect it to be a bit luxurious and want to feel the status when you're there. However the Cairns lounge experience was below average to put it nicely. Alcohol service starts at 12pm so we couldn't even get our money's worth. The coffee and food would have been so much better at the airport shops. Chicken soup was from some instant powder, there were unmelted powdery chunks and was tasteless, do it yourself toasties, this was worse than a collage canteen. I felt the attitude of carelessness, which is not acceptable at Qantas airport lounges. Where is our membership money going? Especially when you would only access the lounge a few times a year!?!?!?
Considering the size of Cairns airport, the Qantas lounge is quite large. Plenty of seating options. Food areas were clean, as were the toilets. Food options were quite good, although they ran out of the rice and curry and it took a while for them to replace those dishes. Good selection of wine and beer and cider also available. Large children's play area and Wi-Fi was fast. Not bad for a regional airport.
GOOD COFFEE, COMFORTABLE SEATS BUT THE FOOD COULD IMPROVE The Cairns domestic Qantas Lounge is modern and well designed with power and SUB outlets, various seating and table styles, toilets and computer work area. Food is OK but as there are few options airside of security you may want to eat before arriving. Staff friendly as always at Qantas Lounges :
Staff were lovely. Some guests were overly loud. Almost became standing room only it was very busy at peak times. Food was good.
