Went into the store this morning at 8:05 and witnessed a team member, Stacey, giving the worst customer service possible. A Maori guy placed his basket on the counter and it had two carbonated drinks in it. Rather than taking them out of the basket Stacey tipped the basket over and let the items drop onto the counter. The customer asked why did she do that and not take the items out. Stacey responded that is not her job the customer should have done that, you wouldn’t expect me to take the items out of your trolley.nnThis was appalling behaviour from Stacey and demonstrated a complete lack of customer service. Surely you can do better than thatnnChris
Product was the wrong price and when I pointed it out to the cashier she checked it then took the supervisor aside and whispered what was wrong and made me feel like a criminal. Then she was half way through and the supervisor came and told her to go for a break and took over instead of the original lady finishing, if that wasn't bad enough then I was double charged and pointed it out. When all my goods had gone through the supervisor looked at me and asked if everything was correct, as if it was my fault for all the mistakes.
Small branch, but also well equipped. Plenty parking slots available. Friendly staff and sufficient opening hours. Good grocery store!
I like shopping here. Good location, service is good. Unfortunately one bad experience. I bought some kisses cookies. Usually lovely. To my surprise after I've eaten I noticed mould on 5 others . Today is 03/ 05 /23. Biscuits are Best before 05/23. How did this happen. Not a good feeling. Because of 1 bad experience I'll still keep shopping here. It's a good store.
OK, it's Woolworths, but the Putararu store, while being a bit smaller and older than some, has the nicest staff ever. Friendly, cheerful experience both in store and at the check out.nNice selection of fresh fruit and veg and usually something tasty in the bakery to catch my eye.nIt's not my local, but it's become a regular stop for me in the Waikato.
