My wife enjoyed the over the counter service - as she noted there were no self service check outs - good old fashion greeting with a smile. Worth the day trip, it's actually handy when there's the need to stock up, it saves going to the supermarket when heading home to Hamilton - cheers Countdown Putaruru!
Very friendly staff well stocked and merchandised for a smaller supermarket Carpark could do with an upgrade.
Friendly staff and a well laid out store so i could find everything I was shopping for.
Called in to shop, on my way back to Auckland. Smaller than most Auckland countdown, however the setup was spread out. Customer service was very good. I was able to do my weekly shopping, except the meat. Putaruru Countdown was great.
Staff are awesome!! However, very limited options for the only big supermarket in town.

I need to thank all the staff at Putaruru Countdown for the kindness they all showed me especially a Melissa and I believe Margaret these 3 lady were there right at the Start Margaret picked up my screwing baby to give him a cuddle while I absolutely had a melt down and tried to get my pram wheel un jammed. Melissa you were there asking if I needed a minute off the shop floor and standing with me to make sure I was ok. The most embarrassing moment I've had out while being a new mum but countdown staff made sure me and my baby were ok. I had so many encounters with different staff members that day and you were all absolutely amazing. I can't thank you enough
Its a general grocery market. The staff seemed to be working well. The checkout person was friendly. I do hope that they able to get a screen in where you can see the item and the price of that item before the customer has to pay
Just a regular countdown helpful staff, has everything you need.
It's OK for a small store. Has most items you might need. Could do with more check outs open.
