Car shipped from Melbourne to Brisbane 9 days ahead of schedule. Car arrived in perfect condition. The ability to track the car as it is being transported is great. 10/10 will use this company again.
Transported my car from Canberra to Brisbane. Went to pick up, the receptionist was so rude. Asked for reference number in the text I received. Told her there was none & when I showed it to her, she pointed to the rego, said "there it is" & rolled her eyes. why she couldnt just say rego, I dont know. Then when there is damage noted, she wanted me to sign off that I had received the car. I refused & she said that it 'just to acknowledge I had received my car'. Yes, of course, to acknowledge that I had received my car in good condition, which I did not. so, no. When car arrived, there was a scratch that was deep enough to see bare metal and a dent behind that scratch on the right fender. Their office contacted and told me to go get 2 quotes for their insurance claim. Their staff damaged my car and I have to take leave and go get 2 quotes. Did that and their claims department asked for photos, twice, and to provide some at 1 mtr distance. Sent them photos taken by the panel beaters. Today I get an email that : 1. told me that the damage was different from the photo their staff took 2. it was raining when I dropped the car off so they could not correctly record condition of car 3. implied that I am unscrupulous and trying to pin existing damage on their staff because there was obvious damage to my car. 4. implied i was stupid with their explanation of stone chips 5. claimed it was stone chips due to transporting car on trailer. So,as they are not compensating me, they covered all their bases: *cannot see condition of my car properly due to rain meaning not recorded that it was existing damage *but can see other existing damage to my car *I am trying to pin it against their staff negligence *it is due to stone chips and as it is environmental quote unquote they have no control. To set the record straight, when I showed them the damage, everyone -panel beaters, friends and neighbours, all tell me that it coming to close to corner of another vehicle or something that can cause a scratch that deep with that corresponding dent. and that was negligence when Prixcar staff was moving my car. NEVER EVER RECOMMENDING ANYONE TO THIS COMPANY.
Organised car to be transported door to door. easy to book-slow service though. Don't book when public holidays in the month, will take car longer than expected to arrive. Car is collected from location and then stored at a depot down south on NSW for weeks. Car then transported to another depot where it sits again for 5 days. I was going to change the drop of location but would have cost more, so I decided to pick up from the depot, which was easy-staff were nice & friendly. No refund even though I collected myself, even though guy on phone mentioned small refund. Car antenna is removed for transport-would be nice if this was mentioned & where it was put in the car.
Super friendly staff - car arrived in perfect condition three days ahead of schedule. I was nervous at first but this was 100% the right company and very pleased with my experience!
I wouldn’t normally leave a review for a car transport company but I regret utilising Prixcar to transport my car from Sydney to Brisbane. I had read previous reviews about unforeseen damages to people’s cars and unfortunately experience the same issue for myself. I deliberately transported my car in a covered trailers for $1600 and was quite shocked to see stone chips on the front bonnet of my new car when it was delivered. We had taken photos prior to pick up but did not have close ups of the areas of concern to really compare the difference. After numerous attempts to contact I was informed that the detailed photos the driver took during pick up were for internal purposes only and I was not able to view them. They were misleading, unreliable and deceiving. Beware of their services and try utilise another company.
Great service! They got my car from Alice Springs to Qld on time : and safely. I went through National car movers as they had the car under insurance. Came on time, even though it went to Adelaide first and then QLD
Used PrixCar to ship my car from Adelaide to Brisbane, car arrived in excellent condition, and within the estimated time frame. Good price too. I will definitely use this company again for my next car. They were very honest, as nothing was missing from inside the car when it arrived. great Job.
Service was good. However I was a bit confused as to where I have to drop my car off. The signs are helpful but I had to wait some time for the guy to come take the keys from me. Overall the experience was relatively good. Think it can be improved though by making things a bit quicker.
