Princes Park is a great place to socialise with friends and family. It is full of many green spaces and ovals. It is home to many sporting clubs and activities. My only criticism is that the works on the playground were due to end in mid 2022 but have continued.  Playground: There are currently works in the playground that were due to finish mid 2022, but have continued.  Restrooms: There is a public toilet near the playground that is usually in good condition.  Dog-friendliness: Princes Park has dog oval where you may take your dog off leash.  Picnic area: There Is no assigned picnic area, however there are many large grassy patches beneath trees that are perfect for picnics.

One of the greatest parks in Melbourne lots of activity’s to do from football  to cricket  play ground for kids lots of parking lots of big trees  with lots of shades to seat and do bbq  very good all around  park highly recommend.

It's a huge park w/ lots of fun stuff to do! You can have a great time w/ your dog and family.

Great park. Dogs can normally run off lead as there are 4 fields and at least one is normally free of sports. There’s a playground right next to it too. Easy parking

What a great spot. Awesome to walk, even better to take the dogs!

I genuinely walk through this park a few times per day, with its many pathways and wide open spaces, dotted with many trees and lawns and lots of people running around having fun. We are all very fortunate to have such a parkland in our community.

Lovely park for walking your dogs on and off leash. People picnicking and just sitting watching the world go by. 4 ovals to excerise on or maybe watch the football / cricket in summer. Lovely maintained park.

Lot of fun, good place for family and kids.
