They have finally renovated the place. Looks heaps better. More pleasant and classy feels. Can get very busy, booking is recommended on peak nights. Sizzling beef was flavoursm. Salt and pepper squid wasn't crunchy but tasted good. The squid wasn't overcooked and rubbery. Special fried rice was standard and good. Crispy duck was deep fried nicely and was crispy to the skin, whilst being tender with the meat. The meat was still able to be shredded. Sweet and sour pork was good. Honey prawns were coated nicely. Dessert menu is limited. Fried ice cream is quite pricey for what was served. And the ice cream came out all melted. Needs to be frozen more before being fried.
First time being here. Not sure whether it's that particular evening or it's a norm, they were super busy. Our meal took a long time to come. It was lantern festival the day before so they gave us mooncake whilst we were waiting. The mooncake tastes nice. Some dishes are a hit and miss. I personally was a bit shock with their peking duck dish. It was overpriced for a one course dish and I wonder what happened to the rest of the duck there was a table of customers left bcs they couldn't wait any longer. I would never forget the look on their face. They sure are very upset. Anyways, at least all our dishes are served and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Good reliable local Chinese! Family has been going for over 40 years and never disappoints. The new renovation looks fantastic and has really helped modernise the restaurant. Convenient take out, great service which is usually complimented by prawn crackers. Thanks guys, keep up the great work Recommended dishesSpecial Fried Rice
Managed to get our order wrong not once, but twice. Luckily staff knew what the mistakes were straight away and fast tracked the corrected order with no hassle. And once it was correct, it was very nice.
We were seated immediately in a very busy venue. We ordered 6 dishes and all but one was very good. The pork in the sweet and sour was a bit chewy. A very enjoyable dinner evening. A bit noisy but not much Friendly, helpful staff. . Parking: Easy parking. We missed the on-site parking sign.
I almost gave 5 Stars, but the first course of our Banquet, BBQ Beef Satays, were over cooked, dry and tough. Everything else was worthy of a full 5. Six 'mature aged' diners for New Year's Eve, I was the youngest at near 79 years. All the courses arrived HOT and freshly cooked, Prawns were great, Salt and Pepper Squid excellent and the Sizzling Steak was the absolute highlight. A little theatre with the flambé ribs. Prince Room has been going for 44 years and a recent renovation has lightened and brightened to rooms. One staff member has been in service for 38 years, so she must be doing something right. The rest of the staff are young and eager to serve and please. I started to dine at Prince Room when it first opened and have no reason to go elsewhere for a good value Asian meal. Parking: Some parking available at rear of premises......don't get caught parking in the car park at the commercial development next door.....sign tells that it results in a $200 fine.
Absolutely amazing food and staff, had a great time for dinner. The food is reasonable priced and the atmosphere adds to the taste. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Great food, lovely staff and great service. Definitely recommend this place. One of the best.
Good Asian restaurant that opens late on weekends. Very attentive and friendly waiter. Absolutely lovely. Ordered salt and pepper flounder and stir fried mix vegetables. Veggies were well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Rice was the main let down, very dry and not fragrant. Waited a while for the fish to cook but the lovely waiter apologised and was very accomodating. Fish was cooked well and tasty, but a tad bit salty for our liking. Well priced. Total ~$50 for whole meal.
Friendly and attentive staff and really tasty food. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
