Story

In December 2015, one of Sydney’s finest examples of art deco glamour opened its doors as the 5 star Primus Hotel Sydney.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of the city, this heritage-sensitive refit of the former Sydney Wa-ter Board headquarters has breathed new life into an iconic 1930’s building.

The hotel showcases a lobby bar, an adjoining all-day dining restaurant, rooftop pool, The Wilmot, and con-ferencing and event spaces underpinned by a modern design philosophy.

The generously sized 172 rooms and suites feature lavish contemporary interiors that create an authentic and engaging experience for both leisure and corporate guests.

The food is so yummy and unique. They've made the food in a very special way and different taste than other fine dinning I've tried before! The stewed beef is the best one I've ever tried!! Also the environment is so nice that we can have a little travel tour to the 1960s
Lovely standard of hotel and the heritage feel of the building meeting contemporary. Nicely appointed rooms and nice bedding made for a great nights rest. Rooftop is a great addition and we have used for birthday gatherings before great in summer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

The bed was comfy and cleaning up to standard. Overall fantastic, especially the breakfast. It’s always good to start a day with a nice breakfast.
Underrated venue. Elegant lobby with modern stylish rooms. Rooftop bar and pool is excellent for sunny drinks. Lobby has terrific cocktails. Restaurant is surprisingly well priced
