Reception staff need to understand that their phone manner causes a significant amount of stress to the patients who attend this clinic. Many of these patients are elderly and may require an extra minute (and respect) on the phone.

This review is about Professor Richard Kennedy who consults @ Prime Medical. I saw Professor Kennedy a few years ago for his opinion in his capacity as an Endocrinologist (Provider no 471086CJ). Well worth seeing Professor Kennedy, He has a realistic and common sense expert approach, lovely fellow to chat with too. At the time my Public Hospital Endocrinologist strongly recommended a thyroidectomy and commencing thyroid medication pre surgery which I felt was unnecessary, drawing on my medical knowledge, hence why I sought another opinion. I chose to take Professor Kennedy's opinion and two years later my thyroid is back to normal without having a thyroidectomy. Let's remember I took the risk of not having a thyroidectomy fully understanding the repercussions. I did seek another opinion. 2 opinions were not to have a thyroidectomy and one was to have it.

Absolutely hopeless. Called to make appointment was placed on hold for 6 min then call dropped out. Called back was told sorry they know calls drop off when on hold for more than 5 min. So then i ask to see Doctor today was told have an appointment on Thursday at 2pm which is two days away....very poor service and very unprofessional receptionist

This review is purely based on the receptionist staff. I came in asking if I could see a doctor and was greeted rudely and dismissive. To which I walked out to find another gp.
