I have tried so many woordfire pizza places and this is the best I have ever had. The pizza dough is really nice and puffy with fresh toppings, good selection of wines. My pick would be to try their Pinot Noir. This place has a lot of warmth with beautiful vertical garden sort of setup and staff are friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone and suggest to dine in there to get the best experience.

Arcade style seating with cover, heating and charm. Very friendly service. Love the thin crust wood fired pizzas. Licensed and cost friendly. Dogs welcome

T’was a perfect Valentine’s Day! My partner and I were wondering where to go for dinner and started scrolling through some wine & dine places on IG on a Thursday evening. We somehow found a post on candle light eve at Portone and thought of driving there straight from Preston to Balaclava. It was a long drive and we had high expectations as well! Candle light eve, wine and pizza! Why not?! We tried two pizzas, Vegetarian and Capra. The vegetarian was super delicious and Capra went well with wine. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner on a weekday Valentine’s Day.  I personally recommend Vegetarian and Pinot Noir. Literally marry them both  We couldn’t really thank the chef that day as the place was busy. So here we are, a HUGE thank you for making our day a special one :

I love this place! Not only are the pizzas spectacular, but the atmosphere makes me smile: dogs are welcome, live music playing, an excellent beer and wine list. I feel perfectly at home here and will certainly make a weekly pilgrimage. Gamberi and Porcini are my personal favourites.

Bit disappointed after moving to the area and excited about ordering Saturday night take away here. For the price and ethos I expected better, more authentic napolitana pizza but pizza was tough to eat, very average, and sliced I'm sorry to say

A true hidden gem when it comes to pizza. We only had takeaway but the simple things like the pizza resting on a fluted cardboard piece so the bottom of the pizza doesn’t get soggy, that is true class. Definitely ordering from here again.

What a way to celebrate a special evening.  Ringing in my Birthday with Pizzas and Focaccia from here, which initially, I wasn't too excited but it was a surprise from Ozzy and had to have faith in his taste.  Did not let me down. It was one of the most delish pizzas we have had in a long long time.....Especially the poached figs one Prosciutto. We ended up fighting for the last bite...And to Ozzy's disappointment, birthday boy won.  Pollo was definitely our second favorite....Leader with chicken.  These Pizzas reminded us of our time in Italy when we binged on Pizzas. This was quite close.  Focaccia was decent  Value for money even though expensive.

Terrible. Don’t recommend their pizzas at all super soggy. Wet pizza base that hadn’t been cooked through, messy toppings and bad customer service. Apparently in speaking to friends, this is pretty standard. Super disappointing as had been hoping this local place would be the one!

Excellent wood fired pizza oozing with cheese. Cosy ambience and delicious food. Highly recommended! As you step in the restaurant you are welcomed by friendly staff and incredible aroma of pizza. We ordered Bufalina Magherita pizza and Roqutte pear salad. Pizza crust was crisp & flavourful and salad was so refreshing. Excellent experience! This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night.
