Just been there saw doctor Thalles, he is fantastic, professional and with great patient feeling. Come from Victoria, ear popped up with congested nose, Dr Thalles introduced how ear works and how to get recovery, great job.

Took our 6 year old with ear infection. Doctor was unable to look inside the ear or properly diagnose on first visit. Centre intended to charge another full fee to return 2 days later to actually look inside the ear. $190 to look once inside a child’s ear is totally ridiculous and practice manager was completely inflexible in her dealings with us. Check out the other medical centres in town first.
Fitted our daughter in for an urgent appointment while we were staying in Port Douglas on holidays. Both nurse and doctor very friendly and thorough. Listened to everything we had to say and ask. Would highly recommend.
Dr Charles is the most knowledgeable, wonderful doctor, and the lovely staff are also very helpful, kind and empathetic. Would highly recommend this medical centre.
I have had to deal with this place for the last 2 years in the time I have been moved between doctors on several visits. It took them ages to find my problem one doctor would rather treat my skin rash then my broken back then another doctor said after my operation that they said I needed she doesn’t recommend it to her patients and the pain I feel is in my head so that’s a big no going to this medical centre.
I was a visitor to Port Douglas, the receptionist was lovely and very helpful and polite. The doctor I saw was lovely and thorough. I felt well looked after.
Pretty appalled by this establishment. The receptionist were as sour as lemons. I had to go as a tourist to get some documents signed for IVF and also to get a diving medical for asthma, which I explained when booking the appointment. I had a page to fill out when I got there being a newbie. Fair enough, took less than two minutes. Walked back up to the receptionist and she said, “yes?” Like she had no idea who I was. Handed the paper work in and went in for the first appointment for the IVF papers. Without even barely looking at them she refused to sign them with no reason that made any sense as to why. So that’s it, now another three months before we can go another round. Thanks a lot. Then I go in for the asthma diving medical and am told the test takes too long and they won’t be able to do it. Complete stuff around and rude and uninviting staff to boot. Will never go back.
