A totally must do while you are up here. Mark was easy to contact and we were out there that afternoon. Yes, you drive down the back of the paddock through the little cane lined road. He was good fun to chat to and we went up after about 15 minutes worth of checks and signing our lives away. The take off was incredible and flying over Port Douglas was such a wicked experience. The water was muddy as the wind was up so if you want to go up and you expect clear water, check the clarity of the beaches first and I'd suggest you don't go up if it's not clear. But it was brilliant as he showed me buildings, discussed the history of different landmarks and then when we turned around he did a hard fast turn which feels incredible. The landing was so much fun. I loved his explanation "You might think I'm out of control but I'm not" 😂😂🤤🤤😫😫😲😲🤢🤢☠️☠️ Thanks, Mark. Two totally enthusiastic thumbs up.

Fantastic! Absolutely amazing perspective and aerial view. We saw crocs, turtles, a stingray and sharks! As well as the reef and all of port Douglas. The takeoff, landing and mid flight manoeuvres were heaps of fun and you can even take control of the steering/ flying for a bit. Highly recommend. Great value for money. Flying at the same time as my partner was extra special as we could take photos of each other!

Great place for couples to get a taste of Microlight Flight due to having 2 instructors. Great views and banter with the instructors.
