My experience at Plush was fantastic from beginning to end - from high quality furniture to amazing customer service. Chris from the Fyshwick showroom did everything a great salesman should do! He knew exactly when to come over to help with questions and when to give space to talk in private & never made me feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. He was great at hanging around and being available for us to talk to him without being overbearing. He also knew the products and services extremely well and made me feel extremely confident in my purchase as he was able to give lots of detail and offer suggestions based on my situation. He asked lots of questions and was invested in my individual situation which was very helpful when making a decision on a big purchase. I would go as far as to say that Chris actually provided perfect customer service and should be commended for the great sense of pride he clearly takes in his job. When coming back to buy the couch the next day I was hoping to be served by Chris again as he was so helpful the day before, and luckily was. Service like this and obviously quality products makes buying from Plush an absolute no-brainer on my opinion! Photo of great customer service pictured below!
My husband and I had casually been looking at lounge showrooms around Canberra over a long period of time and recently visited the Fyshwick Plush showroom for the first time. We were greeted upon our arrival and while we sat on many lounges, were asked regularly if we had questions. We left the showroom with a few lounges in mind, to look around. Later that day we returned with a lot of questions about leather lounges and a few that I had seen online. With expert assistance and detailed information provided by Chris regarding styles, leather covering options and warranty and care, we narrowed our choice down to one style and color, then ordered two leather lounges. We can't wait to receive our two lounges!
I recently purchased the Sante Fe petite from plush and went back to look at an ottoman to match. We had the pleasure of dealing with Chris who I had spoken to the week prior for quotes on some options and he invited us to come in and check out the range and fabrics for ourselves. We ended up settling on the Pax ottoman. And so happy with it. Beautiful and functional with storage in built. Chris was so lovely to deal with - with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend any one going into the store to ask for Chris. He is your go to for the best advice to help you find the solution for your couch requirements. Thanks Chris!
As a returning customer I did not have a good experience with plush. I received a quote on a sofa bed which showed a discount of only a couple of hundred dollars. Having saved thousands in previous promotions at Plush, I tried to contact the store to clarify the actual price of the sofa, which was not detailed on the quote or on the website. Unfortunately the store phone had been disconnected. I made the decision not to purchase the sofa in the current promotion for this reason. When I went in to the store the following day I was told there was a new promotion and I would now save a further $800. 15 min into the transaction I was told that wasn’t correct sorry, actually the sofa was no longer on sale. The assistant then double checked with the manager who said the sofa was on sale, but to a lesser extent than the day before. The lack of transparency about the actual price of products in this store, combined with the continual run of promotions is disingenuous to consumers. Even the assistant, who was very friendly and helpful, seemed utterly confused about the actual price of the sofa. Plush provides a great product, but I will be making enquiries with the ACCC about the legitimacy of their processes.
....It's 4 months later and the order has finally arrived. The delivery experience was incredibly bad. The delivery driver insisted that we had not paid the balance owing even though we showed an SMS message from Plush that said it had been paid. And after another week - still nothing! It's been 10 days since an administrative issue in Plush caused us to be charged twice. We were told that it was being reimbursed immediately - this proved to be untrue. Later that week, we were asked for banking details to facilitate the reimbursement. We asked Plush to reverse the credit card charge that was made on delivery and they agreed to do this. A couple of days later, I was told that the refund had been delayed while they obtained approval from "the regional manager". No idea what happened here - no payment was ever received. In my next call, they contradicted the advice above by telling me that they could not reverse the credit card charge as they did not have the card details...so I provided details for a bank transfer. ...and so it continues...still no sign of our refund and apparently the manager that handles such things is out of the office for a couple of days. Beginning to wonder if legal action is our only remaining recourse. After 10 days of following up with Plush, there's still no sign of the promised refund.
I have been dealing with Amber at Fyshwick Showroom since late last year while trying to decide on some new furniture. I have always found her to be most helpful, personable and courteous, and especially patient and understanding with all my questions. I finally placed my order today, and again she was very professional and explained the guarantees and leather care plan. I would certainly recommend her, and Plush for great service.
We visited Plush Fyshwick store to check out recliner sofas and ended up buying one on the spot. We were greeted by Chris who was very attentive and helpful and knew what he was talking about. He took us through all the options and the process and have us time to consider our decision. We haven't received our sofa yet as we only ordered it today but what we tried out was very nice. Look forward to enjoying ours when we receive it
Extremely satisfied with the service that I have received at Plush showroom staff in Fyshwick. Chris was sales rep who served us and I can tell that not only he has good knowledge about the product he was genuine. He did not push us or try to convince us with lame reasoning. Gave us good insight about the product, was always courteous and has a smiling face and a great attitude. I cannot review the product yet as I have not received it.

Our experience at plush showroom at Fyshwick was excellent and my wife and I were not hassled by staff. When we finally decided on a lounge setting, then came the colour. Amber was fantastic with lending us samples to take home to check the colour in our lounge setting. After 4 attempts we finally decided on a colour. Every time we returned we were talking to Amber which made the experience enjoyable where we didn't have to start from scratch.So far so good, lounge setting ordered.
