Free parking right outside the shopfront, which is awesome. I came on a Tuesday morning, lots of takeaway order but it wasn't too busy inside. It's hard to find a cafe in Devonport where you can sit comfortably to use your laptop or read a book but this cafe is pretty good to sit in, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The interior is really cool and there are some books and magazine available for reading. It can get pretty loud inside when busy. Won't be surprised if they are busy on a weekend, their coffee is really good!
Love the atmosphere and friendly staff there. Good coffee.
Genuinely good breakfast experience. Coffees very smooth and well made, particularly for 3 shot. Egg and bacon sandwiches while maybe a bit pricey are equally well made and cooked. Relish in sandwich, cook on eggs, crisp of the toasted bread and amount of bacon were thought out and spot on
First time back in four years to this wonderful hidden Devonport gem. A converted suburban butcher, turned in to a unique local cafe. Don’t end up at MacDonalds or other tourist trap - head just off the main drag and get some real home cooked food, great coffee and friendly service. Great rustic decor - nothing fancy but very cosy and comfortable. Great to be back and see the same quality I had four years ago.
Simple basic breakfast but impressive , I had the perfect poached eggs and the miso mushrooms were so tasty. Love the retro decor in the cafe. Will drop by the cafe again if we visit Davenport again in future.
I have visited this cafe every day I visit Devonport recently 5 to 6 times. This morning was disappointing and I wont return. After a lengthy wait, I was given a wrong order, then the second order was not what I request and there was raw egg stilk to be seen. I asked for 2 sausage rolls which for their small size are $4.50 and also not hot which is somewhat unpleasant to eat, and maybe they are left uncovered in the fridge, just from the taste. And now just tasting my coffee, I cant be sure its soy milk. Offering a customer money back to keep them happy is not really great service. Up until today, I thought this place was amazing. I am hoping its a personal isuue that has let them down today. Anyway I will just have to make my own italian expresso and have porridge. Guess everything good comes to an end
This is one of those places you regret not finding earlier. I don’t know how many times i’ve driven by before calling in for a coffee. It’s not much on the outside but venture in and it just gets better. Good coffee, Tardis -like comfortable interior to sit, eclectic and interesting decor and really friendly staff. Highly recommended.
20 minutes for 'barista' to make two very weak takeaway coffees. Would avoid this place, mcdonalds coffee is better and faster service.Service: 1/5
Coffee was great and love the repurposed atmosphere and decor. Super cute cafe for a little town in Tassie. Service was great and quite fast. We will be back!
Barista has poor attitude for a maccas machine coffee. Should have gone through the drive throughFood: 1/5
