Platform One Five

Love this place! Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Service is fantastic and my food always comes out so fast. I've also held various workshops here and the attention to detail is superb, nothing is too much to ask.

Very disappointed. Ordered our meals and paid upfront at counter. Waitress then came out and asked if one of us had ordered the Pablo burger, and then told us they didn't have any. So hubby had to switch to the steak sandwich. Our meals came out and I looked at mine and it wasn't anything like what I ordered. Went up and checked the menu, I had been given the popcorn chicken burger when I had ordered the 'shredder' which is a shredded chicken open sandwich with their coleslaw. The waitress went out the back and came back saying 'no you were told there was no shredders.' I said 'no we were told there was no Pablo's, and my husband had to choose something else. I was given the option to have something else made but nothing else really appealed, and of course I'd be eating after my husband as his was already served. What I would like to know, is if they knew when I ordered that there was no shredder, who decided what I was to have for lunch? The waitress even called my burger a shredder when she put it in front of me. The kitchen docket would have said shredder, nobody came out and told me there wasn't any nor asked me for an alternative.. Who decided what I was having for lunch as it certainly wasn't me in the end. Atrocious lack of communication between the front of house and back of house staff. As a side note, while hubby and I were sharing his sandwich which was very nice, the waitress was sweeping around the floor right near us with a big broom. No one had been sitting at those tables so surely the sweeping could have waited until we had left? Very strange. As a positive they did agree to refund my lunch what I ordered cost more than what they had decided to substitute with anyway. We asked to speak to the chef and were told he had clocked off and left and it wasn't the apprentice who had cooked our meal. We are still curious whether hubby was overcharged, as what he ordered and had to pay for upfront, then wasn't available and he had to change to something else. What was the price difference there? He ended up with a lunchtime special that we think was less than what we paid for. This occurred to us after and the menu online does not match the one in the restraurant. Overall a disappointing and awkward experience.

Atrocious breakfast experience. First problem was getting in - the glass door at the front was locked and the entrance was an unmarked door at the side. Every customer had the same trouble as we did! Sounds stupid but surely easy customer access is rule #1 for a retail business, no!?! Only got more strange and terrible from there. Unclean floor with bits of food everywhere. I'd be surprised if it had been swept that day. No menus on tables or info about how/where to order, no staff on floor. Food and coffees took around 45 minutes to be served and then didn't match what was on menu. Food ok but not great. Not the worst food I've had, not the worst service, not the least clean, not the longest wait - but all elements were poor and when you out it all together it was possibly the worst overall breakfast experience I've ever had. They seemed to be missing any kind of management or understanding of running a cafe. A real kitchen nightmare. Wasn't just us either - another diner got his money back after complaining it was the worst breakfast he's ever had. I really hope this was an off day but won't be going back to find out.

I don't even want to give them one star, but I had to, to be able to post review! Worst dinner experience ever, no gluten free options on the menu and staff were very rude when asked about options. Meals took a long time to arrive and when asked for extra water on the table we were ignored. After both entree and mains, tables were not cleared of dirty dishes. Waited at till for at least 10 minutes with no staff to be seen. All meals were overpriced, awful and not worth the prices charged. Wont be back EVER!!

Terrible food and thats the good thing about the place. The wait staff walk away half way through your food order so you have to follow them too the counter to finish it. My scrambled eggs were served pre digested and the 'advocado' i order on the side came served as guacamole. I recomend you steer clear of this place, $22 for food my nephews can cook better then the 'chef's' at this place.

Was disappointed when I was told they had run out of burgers, so I went with fish and chips which was weird, I'm not a massive seafood fan. By far the best battered fish I have ever eaten, it was melt-in-you-mouth amazing. Wish I could have more! Definitely got my $12 worth!

Terrible experience at Platform One Five this morning. Waiting time of at least an hour - then when the food finally arrived it was cold. We ate it only because we were starving by this stage. I politely contacted them to tell them that we were disappointed only to be told that we were wrong and didn't wait that long. Why contact them if it wasn't true. There was no sorry offered or an attempt to make up for their mistake. Poor form Platform One Five - extremely disappointed and will be letting people know about our terrible experience. Even blocked me on Facebook messenger when I tried to explain the situation. VERY MATURE

This restaurant is a reasonable place to eat, the food and drinks are what you would expect; and the pricing is reasonable as well. However I wouldn't revisit this venue, not due any issues on the restaurant's part other than being average.

Visited this new spot the other day and I thoroughly recommend. Lovely spot and real care and attention is put into the food and coffee. Next time I go I'm getting the American waffles

Floor was discussing, lemon wedges, piles of swept up rubbish left in middle of floor however food was good, ordered coffee then breakfast and received breakfast before coffee.....little disappointing. Will give them a second chance.
