Had 4 shared plates, 1 desert and a couple of drinks between 2 of us and was pleasantly surprised that it ended up costing less than $100. Food was excellent, calamari was very tender, perfectly cooked, and the other plates were great too. Have been here a few times before and the food is consistently very well cooked
Dinner for a family group of 5 last night was highly enjoyable in a lovely courtyard setting. We each had something different and all 5 meals were delicious. Good value for money including the great wine selection. We were also impressed with the excellent friendly service.
We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and atmosphere, also the friendly, attentive staff - especially Taryn. We will definitely be back when we are in Taupo next.
We are "regulars" at Plateau, however dropped in for lunch yesterday with out of town guests and you guys lifted your game again. The new menu is fantastic, and the food and service was impeccable. So proud to be local so we can show off this place to our many visitors. Faultless!
Great private outdoor seating, great range of New Zealand wines. The Peruvian ceviche is delicious this was shared between two, followed by the squid and prawn salad and beef scotch fillet with a side of fries. Absolutely excellent service and excellent quality of food. Will come back
