I highly recommend Ryan and the team at pipe magic. I’ve been using CrocCrete on numerous jobs to dissolve concrete from drains. The milling equipment from Picote, along with the grinding heads work really well. If I was to pick on anything, the grease grenade chemical works too well! Items are always sent to us in Melbourne rather promptly, without delay. Ryan’s advice is highly valued and I look forward to dealing with pipe magic in the future.
Purchased this product as we had floor leveller Mapei Ultraplan that unfortunately went down 80x50mm tiled shower trap. We removed all leveller from riser pipe manually as we could access this and the hopes were that the croc crete ultra would take care of the rest! The pipe was clean and dry prior to the first application. The product appeared to be reacting as shown on website and after 24hrs we vacuumed out and it did appear it had made some small impact into the trap. However after repeating the process 5 times and using all 5ltr at a cost to us of $400+ incl freight, along with jet washing, the decision to dig up and repair manually was the only option. Once we broke into the pipe the flc was still rock hard and could only be broken out with hammer & chisel.... this was only 50mm thick from where the croc crete was left to work. Hugely disappointing and a big waste of time and money. Perhaps the product works well with concrete rather than FLC’s but I am very sceptical and would never purchase again. On a positive note the speed of delivery was good overnight however the $54aus freight cost a little ridiculous. Blair Frost Project Wetroom Ltd NZ
We had a blocked stormwater pipe under our driveway. Some run-off from the exposed aggregate had made its way into one of the stormwater pits. The plumber got some Croc Crete from Pipe Magic and used on the blocked pipe. The next day the blockage was softened enough for the plumber to run a jetter through, clear the blockage and happy days, stormwater pipe now fully working again. Croc Crete is a great product and works fantastic. Dave
We used Croc Crete on a blocked disconnector gully. The gully was full of a floor leveling compound and could not be cleared using traditional methods. Croc Crete dissolved the compound and the residue was flushed out. I would highly recommend it and will use it again if needed. John Lisignoli Watermark Plumbing Brisbane.
Purchased this product to clear a drain of Ardit floor leveller Dunlop. Almost $300 for 5 litres. Didn’t work at all. Useless product. Don’t waste your money people. Better off purchasing a $15 5 litre of Hydrochloric Acid from Bunnings which worked much better. T Mathews Hervey Bay
