We got a really tasty meal here! The portion sizes were huge and filled with flavour. The pancakes looked amazing but wanted more sauce as they were a bit dry. The pinkie hash was sooo delicious but needs a sauce with it as it is a bit plain on its own. The bowl was massive and super tasty! The juices were refreshing as well.
This place is so cozy yet spacious. I love how much variety they have on their brunch menu than the usual classic brunch items. The staff was very attentive to our needs and have given us a nice table which can fit us 5. They were a bit of a crowd on a saturday morning but we managed to get a table easily. The food presentation was amazing, top notch to be honest and the tasty, prolly is one of the best. We had the salmon, eggs benny, has browns and toastie. The chips and hash brown and mashed potato were my favourite. a little bit potato overload here but the chips was cooked with a batter was very tasty and crispy, the has brown too was crispy and was not very oily while the mashed potatoes was so creamy, kind of melts in the mouth. it was also seasoned nicely and definitely not salty.
Pretty good cafe with really friendly staff. I had the beef steak sandwich and unfortunately, it wasn’t very tender. The sauce and veg did help soften it up.nnThe fries though. Veery crispy and satisfying to eat .
I recently had a lovely brunch at Pinkie. We ordered the raspberry & saffron pear bircher, zucchini and corn fritters and salmon & avo bowl to share. For drinks we had a mango shake and a cappuccino thick shake.nnThe highlight for me was the salmon & avo bowl. Featuring brown rice with avocado, torched cured salmon, sriracha mayo and sautéed spinach, the dish was beautifully balanced and full of flavour.nnThe zucchini and corn fritters was generously portioned and filling. The dish was inclusive of two poached eggs and smoked salmon which I thought was good value as often times these can be extra.nnThe raspberry & saffron pear Bircher was lovely. Poached pear is always a highlight for me and this was no exception. It’s a great option if you want a hint of sweetness but still want to try and keep it healthy.
Lovely local cafe, the golden turmeric is delish nSo many choices on the menu, with good amount of vegan and vegetarian options and side dishes. Love having this local gem around the corner.
