Lovely staff, but poor allocation of roles. Our food sat on the bench as the chef repeatedly dinged the bell because the 4 waiters were just fluffing around. Also awful coffee.

The coffee is one of the best in Ivanhoe. Food is awesome! We expected a good variety on the kids Meenu and were very happy with it. Tables need numbering though, we got served incorrectly twice.

Decent coffee. I had nice baked eggs. However, the chilli scramble ordered by my partner was pretenious and more effort was made to look nicer and had no flavours. If you remove the decorative elements, the fried curry leaves and mountains of jalapeno peppers, it was a plain scramble without taste on bread. There was nothing in the eggs, not even salt. I am not sure I'd come back again.

Oh boy, this place leaves a lot to be desired. There are some strong points: -good coffee -charming service -nice aesthetic & ambiance -they do a decent bacon but... the food needs work. -The 'Poke' Dish had salmon that was so salted, it was inedible. And likewise, the avocado in the dish had its flavour killed by the excess lemon. -my friend ordered a 'Corn Toast'; we assumed toasted corn bread, but it is literally toast covered in corn. (Tinned, fried corn on toast. Funny, but... guys?) And the hollandiase was... better excluded. -other friend ordered a constructed breakfast; dry and cold. Guys, you can overdry toast. -All of it was cold. Except the bacon (see above) Overall, these wouldn't be issues, but for the price, the expectation is high. You have something good here Pinkie Cafe, but if you're charging that much, do better. It was an amusing experience we will not be repeating any time soon.

I really like their menu and the coffee, always something to choose from any time of the day. Great savoury dishes and the smoothies are creative and delicious. My only gripe is with the organisation and attention to detail, a little lacking for the money, also the outdoor area needs umbrellas or blinds to protect both indoor and outdoor diners from the direct sun.
