Story

Opening back in 2008, Pieno is located in the vibrant hub of Surry Hills. Pieno established itself amongst the local community and we proudly consider ourselves an institution amongst the eclectic mix of Surry Hill’s locals.

Priding ourselves on our 5 senses coffee, cool cocktails and nice mix of wines, our extensive menu has you covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drop in and relax in our garden, pick a few cuttings and hang out, we cater for everbody and easily accommodate large bookings in either of our courtyards.

Probably the best beef burger I’ve ever had!! The paddy was cooked perfectly and the balance of all the flavors along with the delish toasted sesame seed bun that held together with every bite was just a pleasure to eat will be back soon!
A hidden gem in surry hills! Had a big brekkie and a brekkie salad, both very good. Coffee is astonishingly good! Will defintely be back soon!
Their coffee and fresh juices are superb! Love the vibes here, good place to sip and chill during a good weather.

Pretty good breakfast place. I love the griddle cakes, they are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Paired with the maple sauce and it was delicious. The fruit cake was surprisingly nice too. I’m not usually a fan of fruit cakes but these were nice and moist. The coffee was pretty good as well.
Pieno's massive courtyard and great coffee and kitchen makes it a favourite for big groups and pet lovers, while respecting Covid safe rules. And it is opened when others cafes are closed.
Quaint restaurant with great food! Small range of food available on the menu but has something for everyone.
One of the best coffees I've had in Sydney.
