1. I share this favour combination after many many many attempts at finding the perfect flavours. I’ve found them. Chocolate, pistachio, salted caramel, banana milk. You’re welcome 2. I see some reviewers have got a lot of negative things to say about the staff at this establishment. I however, as a frequent visitor of this incredible ice cream store have nothing but good things to say. Yes, the young women when under the pump, can be closed mouthed. However, I’m my frequent experience, some effort from the customer at asking how their day has been and visiting the store when there is not a queue winding down the street, you will find that these girls are extremely friendly and very personable. Give them a break. These gorgeous young women work very long hours doing extremely physical and repetitive work. Also many customers are annoying. Do yourself a favour, do NOT ask for a tester, they don’t test every flavour is incredible. The best you’ve ever tasted. Trust this fact. If you don’t know what good sorbet, ice cream and or gelato tastes like, and you can’t buy before you try, maybe don’t come here. There’s another store down the street that test. It’s inferior ice cream, but you get to test. If you’re a sensitive soul, try to visit during the quieter hours and ask the girls how they are enjoying Melbourne. Most of them have been quite isolated during Covid, a long way away from their families. I give the Pidapipo, the ice cream, and these young women five stars. Be kind
Update 24/4/22 - The Asian looking girl served me less than the “1 scoop” I paid for. I think she needs to be supervised and retrained so that the serves are consistent. - - - Had the pistachio, it was so yum with just the right consistency
It was a warm autumn night, wife and I needed ice cream. A friend recommended this place, only 15 mins from Oakleigh. The peanut butter gelato is simply heaven, will be back to try more.
Terrible service, the staff was disrespectful and rude, the young man hated everyone, answered questions about the tastes of ice cream with a poker face, wasn't customer-oriented, to put it mildly. I should have left this place immediately after such an «amazing» service, but my interest was high after reading a lot of good reviews. In short: You can't see and taste the ice cream there, the names of the flavors are quite confusing, without a description, so you just have to rely on luck. After I finally made an order blindly, I got a very sweet and buttery ice cream, I couldn't eat it. Tastes are different, but you can find a much better place with pleasant service.
Customer service is poor, Comepare to other gelato shop not the favorite here anymore.

Unique flavors and friendly service. I had Ricotta with mandarin marmalade & Nutella swirl. So delicious! Hit the spot on a hot day.
Love Pidapipó. Love their gelati, especially pistachio and cookie ones. Love their sorbet, so fruity so refreshing. Great packaging too
I always wondered why people would line up for this place as I thought it was just a standard ice cream parlour ... I was so wrong. I've been slowly working my way through the menu and all the flavours have been great. The banana milk with Nutella is one of my favourites. To top it off, their prices are well placed also.
Excellent gelato! They store their gelato in specialized air-tight containers to keep their gelato fresh and at the right temperature that almost feels like you're getting the best soft serve ever. The prices are pretty reasonable and the servers there are authentic Italians. Only reason for one less star is that any flavor with "mixed in" ingredients feels a little light on the mix ins.
