Picnic is a pleasant cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere in a quiet street in Camp Hill. They have a decent offering of standard breakfasts plus some interesting takes and daily specials. They have a great selection of juices, smoothies, and desserts. Excellent coffee and very friendly service. Food served is aesthetically pleasing, and portion wise is plentiful. Flavour wise, well, they use quality ingredients, and all are balanced flavours, nothing too overwhelming or heavy for breakfast or lunch. Savoury dishes are full of flavour and leave you craving more.
Vibrant little cafe in a busy area! Parking is quite tricky on weekends and early mornings but plenty of surrounding streets if you don’t mind walking. Staff are friendly and welcoming! This is probably our third/fourth time visiting and staff have always been really quick and efficient. Have only ever ordered coffee so our review is based on that! Our recent visit, coffees were both really sour. Ordered both a cappuccino pictured and vanilla iced latte. Cafe was quite busy, so I understand the pressure to get the coffees out quickly, but unfortunately the quality was compromised. I do really enjoy the space though, the large open window really makes the cafe feel open and inviting. Might pop back in again if I’m the area, but probably wouldn’t travel out of our way. Would love to try some of their food and update our review
First time here meeting friends. Will definitely be back. It’s a popular cafe. The first thing that struck me was table service- haven’t had that in a while, so it was off to a great start. Friendly staff and cost relaxed atmosphere. Food is lovely here! Coffee importantly was on point! We had a quinoa bowl, mushrooms on toasts and signature hashbrowns Benny! Went for a business coffee / lunch catchup. Quaint venue, well spaced, very friendly team, great coffee and fabulous food. I had the corn fritter stack with a side of mushroom, and black coffee. Honestly delicious. Coffee was perfect. PICNIC is one of those hidden gems that it's great to know about. Definitely will go again.
The food here is delicious, the service is chilled, friendly and attentive. A really cool spot for lunch, brunch,coffee. So good we went two days running! Make sure to check the specials board, but everything I had and saw was top notch.Food: 5/5

This cafe has a nice vibe and the service was very attentive. Some interesting breakfast choices that are Asian inspired quinoa nasi goreng as well as standard fare. Bruschetta wasn't really bruschetta and came with roast tomatoes instead of normal diced cherry tomatoes. Coffee was quite good.
Absolutely fantastic! We got there right at the time of opening and got a table immediately. Customer service was very friendly and attentive. Food portions BIG! Price reasonable and worth it. Outside sitting area might benefit from shaded area in the morning time.
Taking the time to leave a review because I just had a prawn salad, ruby tuesday juice and coffee at Picnic, all delicious, thanks to some very accomodating staff who let me in past 1.30 when the kitchen was for the most part closed. Given I departed some minutes past 2, their close, this is my small way to thank the venue for going over and above for me. Made my day :
Great breakfast, go there regularly for late Sunday breakfast. Awesome food love the bacon rosti. Would love if coffee came out a bit faster
