- Food: perfect! Try Veal Florentine with Carbonara - Venue: Stunning building! Easy to park. - Noise: very noisy, too many people sitting very close to each other. Try to book in the less busy time. - Staff: friendly, but many young waiters/waitresses that lack a bit of experience. They forgot to bring my drink and every time we needed something, we had to wait for minutes until someone looked at us waving from the table. - Price: with $40-$50 each you can eat and drink very well. - Do I recommend? Absolutely! Despite some minor negatives, their chef is amazing! Food is divine!!
Architecturally stunning with excellent pizzas and generous pastas. Sticky date pudding was delicious and more than enough to share. Our main waiter was friendly and attentive, but we got some attitude from one that brought dishes to our table and said it wasn’t ours it was the table next to us which killed the vibe a bit. Venue does get noisy as tables upstairs were packed like sardines. 4.5/5
The staff were on point, not more but not less, great service.The food is fresh, well prepared and presented. Time to the table was excellent. The venue could do better at the undernourished wine list, but that isn't a show stopper. Great experience, happy to return.
Great restaurant in Mount Waverley which I recommend for any special occasions. The food is tasty and well presented, my personal favourite being the gnocchi funghi! More suited to smaller parties as it can be quite noisy with larger groups due to the design of the building. Speaking of which, the restaurant is inside a beautiful building which is really gorgeous in both decor and architecture.
The local neighbourhood go to spot. Quite full with outdoor tables being available for walk ins which is great! Haven’t seen a restaurant keeping tables for walk ins in a while so it’s good to have this back! Team is quite young, polite, and green. Managed is quite arrogant and not really aware of customer service. The place is a good local joint to enjoy American Style food in Australia.
Worth the trip to Mount Waverly. Beautiful place - didn't get to go upstairs though but it looks phenomenal and the design is just unique and special. I need to come back at night during winter to see it all lit up - the day was exceptional can imagine how spectacular it is at night. The food was excellent. Very fresh produce. Chicken, Seafood was all very, very fresh and delicious. Great servings too. Good service. Highly recommended! will be back
Lovely spot, well run with lots of staff on. Staff could be a bit more attentive but food comes out quick and is delicious. Cocktail menu is great! Good for a date, family dinner or even a birthday.
One of the best designed Italian restaurants in Melbourne… but that’s all there is to this restaurant. The staff look like they didn’t want to be there, only 1 or 2 were friendly. But even when paying the staff look like they didn’t care. And the food was disappointing and overpriced. The lamb pizza was bland and ingredients didn’t go well together and the gnocchi was gluggy and tasteless. The only dish that was decent was the calamari and chips which we felt we could also get from some fish and chip store. Always heard this restaurant was popular and always wanted to try it but maybe something changed along the way.
Excellent ambience with great service. The food was prompt and tasty. We had the lamb pizza which was nice - soft tender lamb on the pizza. The chocolate mousse was amazing. Well done John! Will be back again!!
A bustling restaurant full of life with stunning architecture and meals to match. The steaks were cooked perfectly, pasta and pizza were delicious. The food was served piping hot! The service could have been better we had to remind them of a few things but it was extremely busy. It wasn’t a big deal. I would definitely recommend this place and certainly return again.
