I don’t think it’s best tasting bahn mi, as someone said in the review, but maybe for the price it is. It’s hidden away in the Hunter connection.
Disappointing pork roll which really pains me to say, as I LOVE pork rolls. Bread was pretty stale this was at 13:45, so a bit late, but not super late. Not very much filling, too much bread to the point that I was tearing it off and throwing it away. Bread not very good, other ingredients lacked flavour. Maybe I need to come earlier to try some fresher bread... Came at 8:30am and the bread still didn't feel fresh
The best Vietnamese bread rolls Banh Mi in Sydney CBD. Only $6.50 for a traditional Vietnamese pork roll on a nice crispy bread roll. A bargain cheap eat in the heart of Sysney CBD Located inside the Hunter Connection food court.
In search of Banh Mi. First impressions. Bread is soft and not the crunch bread you like in a good BMT. Vegetable filling is not as generous as good places such as Marackville or Mascot. Pate is also lacking though the bit that exists is ok. No mayonnaise or not enough. Ok but not great.
By far the best tasting Banh Mi in the city. Upstairs in Hunter Connection. There are a couple of other Vietnamese shops nearby but this is the best, the crispy pork is loaded & AWESOME, salad is fresh as, & the rolls are crispy & warm. 5 STAR!!!
Delicious Banh Mi, always a long line but super fast moving
Pork roll was good but not great. Bread a bit too soft. Staff quite friendly
Fresh and tasty rolls. Smallest shop on the food court with the longest waiting line. Very popular :
I was pleasantly surprised with the BBQ pork roll with fresh chili, as it had a good kick to it and for $6.50 you can't go wrong there. The only issue is finding a seat nearby during the lunch rush to enjoy it!
Reliable and super fresh salad ingredients. I have been buying these rolls for about 8 years and my favourite is the BBQ pork balls which are just a little bit tastier than the chicken. The rolls are really nice and they have wholemeal rolls also. I'll keep coming.
