First time to have my lunch here I had dry eggnoodles. Be honestly I don't really enjoyed it. Because the noodles was really dry . I try the other shop and have same thing like this but was very impressed and delicious. This pic was the shop inside the footscray market if you into the entrance from station side you can see that shop next to the bread roll . Tho it's a soup noodle, but they also have the dry one but I forgot to take the picture. Also the shop next to it they have beautiful slice beef pho third picture Those two shop are my top 5 in footscray.
I use to love the Hu Teiu prawn & pork noodles but I think it’s declined over the years. The biggest issue I have are the pork portions - they give you 4 very thin slices, along with 2 prawns. Would love to see more generous pork portions. Love the free tea though. Accepts card payments minimum $15.
Vegetarian & Seafood options. Ordered chicken & corn soup, vegetarian & spring rolls too! Definately worth $$ friendly team serving & very popular with locals.
Only "hu tieu" is good with fresh quail egg. That's it. The medium "Pho" only has 5 slices of fresh beef. The "bun rieu" tastes nothing like "bun rieu" at all. Been here twice and never got the drink that's on the menu.
First time at this restaurant, group of 7. Service was quick and prompt, I had the Phõ with the lot and we also had beef Phõ. Sides were Prawn springrolls, pork springrolls and vegetarian springrolls The pho broth was excellent, clean and fragrant, in terms of topics they could have been thinner sliced and a bit more ingredients in the pho with the lot. The springrolls lacked what seemed to be the main ingredient as they all tasted the same, we couldn't find any prawn or pork. Definitely will return for the phõ
It's not very worth it, the portion is stingy, and I ordered two Pho with my partner and only one side dish. Originally, I was going to another one, but unfortunately they closed. This is the first and last time visiting here.
Food was edible. Way better food to get in Footscray Customer service is very bad. I had a table of 3 , we were only given 2 menus. This happened on 2 different occasions. The waiters are standing around talking to each other, when the floors and tables are not clean.
Food: Known for their staple Vietnamese dishes, previously we had only gone for quick lunches and it was just another one in the bunch on Hopkins. However this time round we had some Vietnamese food experts with us who pre-ordered fresh fish for a Vietnamese style sour soup, which most of us had never tried. Magic. Ordered a couple of other fried dishes with rice. Brought our own grog. Service: Minimal English, but very friendly. Ambience: Much quieter than its neighbouring popular Viet Kitchen and Sapa Hills across the road. But no lining up involved and no loud hipsters either. Value: Expecting it to be $40-$50 per head. Left with change for drinks and late night pizza at Mr West. Summary: Do a bit of research and compare the few restaurants. This one is probably worth exploring further as who knows what other gems are on the menu other than the regular Phos etc.
One of the many Vietnamese establishments along Hopkins street. They open till late and quite empty on weekday nights. The food here is quite average, the noodles are cooked perfectly but the broth of the pho is just average. The broken rice combination is standard too. Food - 6 Service - 6 Vibe - 6 Price - $$
service was substandard and there was a language barrier, we received my fathers meal, which was satisfactory and undercooked.we then waited 45 minutes for my mother and i's food, we asked about it and the chef had forgotten about our meals and then proceeded to charge us full price for all 3 meals + spring rolls we didn't even order. im not one to complain but this is absurd.
