2012 will bring 30 years in the Engine Reconditioning Industry for Phil Young, Phil
has just about seen, heard, advised and repaired it all, from the smallest stationary engine through to the largest of train engines and while the majority of his work comes from within the State, some jobs undertaken are from Interstate.
With the recent purchase of larger machinery to handle the greater demand
for larger heavier diesel jobs he is pretty well tooled up to handle all job applications.
Some of those machinery jobs include:
crankshaft machining, block boring and honing, block surfacing, pressure testing,
conrod re sizing, flywheel machining and lightening, lathe and milling work, hardness and thickness testing, full engine balancing, all types of welding and crack repairing, just to name a few job applications.
He is also fully tooled up for all aspects of cylinder head reconditioning and
modifications, large and small, with a large part of Phil’s work being cylinder head
modifications to allow the customer to confidently run their vehicle on LPG ( gas )
or unleaded fuels.
Phil also offers an exchange cylinder head service, with around 150 varieties of new or reconditioned cylinder heads on the shelf ready to go, petrol and diesel, this allows the customer to be back on the road the same day without lengthy delays.
Also on offer is a comprehensive range of spare parts to cover your smallest job
through to your 600 horse power gas guzzler, petrol or commercial heavy machinery.
Phil also offers a quick pick-up and delivery service to all customers.
