Rating based entirely on bike parking: This Countdown has five “lollipop” style bike racks can fit up to ten bikes. This style is good for securing your bike to. There’s a generous amount of space around the racks, which is good for larger cargo bikes. The racks are right next to the front entrance, which is convenient, and good for security. Only downside is that they kind of look like trolley bays, so sometimes people put shopping trolleys into them. More signage could help with this.
Clean and spacious, well stocked, and on Sunday when I couldn't find a product I asked a staff member MICAYLA where it was. She was busy with another staff member but immediately went and found it for me - cheerfully! - they had been shifted. She was then back with her work and on the phone. A pleasant shopping experience.
Big roomy Countdown, wide aisles. When we went they had it all except one item I wanted. Lovely cool shop. Beside a Smart ATM, Sushi shop, Pita Pit, Bakery. Heaps of parking. Mobility Parks. Our go to when on Petone. Prefer over Pak n Sav.
Typical Countdown with a large variety of products and a nice layout. There is generally plenty of parks available and the store is always tidy.
I came in and meet Cameron who was a young but very friendly check out operator and would highly recommend you go to his check out.I believe he is one of the nicest workers at countdown petone. He packages bags very well and provides people with world class customer service. He has very good maners aswell.Thanks Cameron you made my day..keep up the goodwork buddy.
Good grocery store, nice workers, they have more sour dill pickles compared to pak n save which has mostly sweet brands so that's why I made a stop here.
Nice new shop very spacious and has other shops onsite
No good - ran out of 8 pack ordinary coke. No help from assistant. 10/8/22. Better service today - seems a few different staff....very helpful...still won't go on a Monday to collect my magazines as they are never out before lunchtime - and last time the girl said they had not arrived - which was untrue -as asking another assistant on the way out she got them out of the trolley for me. I can't understand that as New World and Paknsave gave them out before 9am
Very friendly staff who were very helpful and easy to approach. Very clean store and good deals
Countdown have good specials in store, have been shopping here for years
