We really enjoyed this cafe that had it's own individual appeal. The staff were helpful from the minute we walked in to making sure we were happy with our choices and seating. It was pretty busy as I am sure it always is but we were still attended to in such good time. The food was fresh and delicious and the option to have an alcoholic beverage was nice as well. The decor is interesing and keeps you looking around which is also a nice addition.
It's the vibe, the food and the service was top notch. It's casual and family friendly. Rustic style but a very refined menu. Something for every taste and feeling. Peak nostalgia with the camping style Milo which paired well with the damper in my duck eggs ham dish. My mates lamb ragu pasta was great... but I'm not sure if it was egg high quality pasta which is a must when serving Pappardelle to an Italian!. The beans on it was a nice touch but needed a touch more cooking to get it a bit more soft.. It would have made it better. The salmon bagel was amazing.. I am from Melbourne and I will be back!
What a cute cafe both inside and outside. Really interesting menu with many different ingredients carefully mixed. We enjoyed wine and beers with fries and even that felt special. Very busy though.
Such a nice place to eat when it’s good weather. Very pretty with outside garden filled with plants. Food was delicious. The avocado toast was too die for. Staff were friendly, very helpful and caring.
We ended up at Peter Rabbit on 'Australia Day'. Most places were shut and we overheard someone recommending it but saying it would be hard to get into. It was crowded but we got a place on a curb table. Cool atmosphere. Coffees oat flat white, soy flat white were outstanding. Bagel with lightly smoked trout was really good. It is on the list to go back to!
Great atmosphere. Management have done a great job with the set up. Food looks great but tastes 'okay'. The salmon was smoked on site though which was impressive.
Super fantastic little cafe. Great vibe in the outdoor area. Food looked and tasted so great I had to order multiple meals. Seems quite busy. We were told to wait half an hour, which we opted to do, but we were ushered to a table in less than 10 mins by very accomodating staff. Do it people!
This place had such an amazing vibe! I had the smoothie Bowl and it was by far the best I've had! The granola tasted amazing. Staff were lovely! I missed the bunnies tho! I hope they will be back soon! Can't wait to go there again for another meal!

Love Peter Rabbit. Our go-to Cafe in the city. Ambience is wonderful, I love the rustic garden shed kinda feel and their coffee and breakfast is spot on, every time. Bonus points for the service from the young guy always working front of house.. he's really obliging and lovely, with I knew his name! Definitely worth a visit but best book in advance to save waiting the hour or so in busy mornings!
