Very nice spot for coffee. It was quite busy when I came but I was able to sit down and enjoy a flat white. They didn’t have as many food options as expected/compared to other cafés in the area. I’d definitely come back for a coffee or buying beans.
It was very early in the morning when I stepped into Elementary Coffee in Adelaide. I have to say that I could immediately feel the positive vibes in the café from both, the staff as well as the customers, a HAPPY PLACE! When I looked at the barista, he gave me a big smile. I asked him whether he has a tasty coffee. OF COURSE, he answered! What coffee would you like to have? A super sweet and tasty filter coffee, please! He continuously smiled and said: Kenya! The day could not have started any better. MAKE IT EXTRA SWEET JUICY AND LINGERING. He must have thought that I am a total nerd! When I got my cup of coffee and my toasty, he kept smiling at me: YOUR COFFEE! Can you believe it. The Kenyan filter coffee was extra sweet, extra juicy and extra lingering. Coffee is not only about the taste only; it is more about the entire coffee experience: tasty coffee in a happy environment. I also enjoyed the simple interior design, the roastry in the back of the café and I also enjoyed reading the coffee, design, and fashion magazines. While I enjoyed my toasty and slurped my coffee, I saw many more happy people coming and going. A perfect coffee encounter.
Love the coffee at this place. Ordered the pumpkin feta, a piccolo latte and cappuccino. Great food and coffee.
Great Coffee, service, atmosphere and bacon and eggs rolls
Great coffee and pastry treats. Happy friendly staff with a casual relaxed vibe. Truly great coffee, better than most in the area.Food: 5/5
We booked via the online booking system and were told there were no tables available when we go there. The worker said there must have been a glitch in the online booking system. There was no efforts to make other arrangements, and when we asked the waiting time he said there were people before us, even though we had a booking. With a 6 month old baby in the car and coming from interstate, this is not good enough. There was no flexibility at all on their end. Will not be returning and be aware that bookings mean nothing.
Great coffee, delicious food and friendly staff. I got the vegan omelette and absolutely loved it!
It’s probably a really great place given the positive reviews and write ups…but they don’t have a menu which I found out with a sigh and an eye roll from the barista nor did they offer wifi I learned with another eye roll and an abrupt ‘uh no’ so I could access data to reference what other people have ordered. Instead the barista rolled her eyes again and curtly inquired ‘I mean do you want food or something?’. I figured this probably isn’t the place for me given the plethora of coffee spots around the area. Looked really cool on the inside tho.
Great service delicious food and top coffee. The music is good too. Definitely will be back to work through the menu.
Great little place in the heart of the city providing good coffee, lunch and snacks. They do their own roasting here so they know their stuff when it comes to preparing coffee. Baristas are friendly and there’s an assortment of seating available ranging from benches to individual seats. There’s a bathroom on premise but no WiFi available. A coffee will set you back $4. #BeatTheGrind
