The doctors, nurses, technicians at Peter Mac Moorabbin have been the most kind, understanding and cheerful people. They have made me feel comfortable everyday of my 19 radiotherapy treatments. The daily sessions have been smooth and very quick. The radiologists always explain what will occur and prepare me for any changes. Thank you for supporting me through this difficult time.
My husband died 7 weeks ago thanks to the incompetence of the doctors and surgeons of Peter Mac. After telling my husband he’s cancer was curable and that it was a 100% success rate. He died. He went through countless chemotherapy and an 11 hour operation to remove the cancer and then telling my husband he was cancer free only for him to die. Why tell someone they are cancer free?? They destroyed my husband. They destroyed me and they destroyed my children. I will never trust another doctor or surgeon again. And I will never ever forgive those people that act like gods I hope one day you will know the heartache you have caused
I want to say thank you to all of staff, I was in Moorabbin hospital, they speed up my case and transfer me to nearest location sunshine hospital easy my trip. Both hospital staff are very supportive and patience. I feel destress because of their support. From planning to chasing report and start the treatment as soon as possible. Appreciated for all!

Just aweful!! Dr's kept changing.Mum had small cell carcinoma in the lungs, rightly so the first Radiation Dr advised chemo wasn't going to work, mum was very lite in frame but big in heart, scared of cancer and passing . Really at the end of the day they said it wasn't behaving as it should be, a plus for us but they kept telling us is was slow moving, a plus basically they didn't want to treat mum as she was old, they only checked her lungs via xrays, no scans to see if it had travelled, yes it had, in Feb, news to me the new Dr cdnt explain but she still advised it was slow moving to me if it is in lymph node it is spreading and mum's was very aggressive.nMum was put into Dandenong hospital in August.wWe had to fight off the weekend shift Dr, who kept trying to put her into into rehab with no medical assistance, she passed in hospice mid September. I'm so sad my mum went through this it just breaks our hearts.nnWe did come across a lovely Dr At Dandenong hospital Dr Kim we can't thank him enough, a very special person and the nurses too.
