My go to place to buy cat food and items. Staff are always cheerful. Items are cheaper if you have pet barn membership. A big store.
Clean, Friendly staff etc but the pricing is always confusing AF. Make sure to take pictures of price tags and screenshots of any website promo.. the staff are just as confused and i always finding myself needing to checking pricing at the checkout 80% of the time i put stuff back because the promos always have a confusing t&c. I wish you'd keep it damn simple. Then we dont waste time.
Great service and a lot of options. Wasn’t sure if they would allow my refund considering I purchased and item from another branch for a dog. But the staff were very accomodating and provided a refund promptly as the item size was incorrect.
Generally more expensive than other pet shops I've found. Some staff have very little idea, others are good. But the most disappointing thing however is that I've spent so much money in that place on dog food and a fancy dog kennel, and then recently I bought some fish to add to my large tank. One of the fish died after 5 weeks and because it's out of the 30 day policy I was not given a store credit for it. I know how to look after my fish and had them in a quarantine tank prior to protect my big tank. I've done everything right and one of those new fish died they said no to a store credit. I'd rather keep a customer happy and say no problem we'll add a credit then to say no to a customer who has a decent relationship with the company.
Staff were super friendly and respected our desire to browse first. The shop was clean and very organised. The parking was a bit tough and awkward but otherwise a great visit.
Really appreciated the lovely staff and visitors helped me caught my slipped and frigented kitten. Thank you for your precious time and great help to save our lives. Thank you, thank you very much.

thank you MEL! we were looking to buy a particular cat tree, we had already visited the west ryde store to find it but it was out of stock there. unfortunately it was OOS at north parra as well, but Mel went above and beyond to ensure we found something for our new ragdoll kittens! Mel searched for other local stores to let us know which branches have which items in stock, and when opting to click and collect in the Chatswood store we noticed we weren’t getting members pricing online and also couldn’t access our online account. Mel then contacted customer service by phone and also on live chat, and despite the customer service agents speaking to another staff member they really weren’t doing much to help out. we didn’t want to trouble Mel too much so we ended up buying a floor/display model of a different cat tree. Mel gave us a generous discount on it because it was missing an item and for the ‘trouble’ with online despite it not being her fault which we greatly appreciate. she also provided some general advice for our new kittens as she is a ragdoll owner herself. thank you so much for all of your help, your attention to detail, and your willingness to go above and beyond for your customer despite it not being an easy transaction. I hope this reaches the appropriate people and you’re aware of what an amazing and passionate asset Mel is to your company! keep up the great work!
I love going to this Petbarn. Everytime I walk in, I am greeted with a smile and the staff go above and beyond to help you. It's awesome that you can take your pet in with you aswell.
I’ve been meaning to give this review for months. I take Louie to get his nails clipped regularly with Hollie. Hollie has to be the kindest and most wonderful person I’ve ever interacted with. She as amazing with Louie, he is not the easiest dog to handle as he hates his nails clipped, yet always pulls me into the store because he just loves Hollie. She is gentle and very caring with all the dogs that come in. I’ve often watched her through the window. It’s safe to say your pets are treated with so much care at this store. I refuse to go anywhere else, as does Louie. She is more than asset to Petbarn and the reason I keep coming back. Her team are also very kind, caring and always helpful. I cannot fault them for anything.
