Would give 0 stars for this store if I could. Had the worst experience in any retail store I've ever been to here a few months ago! Manager was incredibly rude and demeaning. She personally criticised me and my dogssaying one was fat!- which he isn't, he's a big ball of muscle! I was so upset, especially considering I had been a regualr customer there for many years for all my dogs needs. Being a small business owner myself I thought I would address this directly with Petbarn Head Office, rather than automatically leaving a bad review. I called and was instructed to email my experience, which I promptly did. I was then advised that the area manager for the store would contact me. That was over 2 months ago now and I have never heard anything from anyone, not even a follow up from head office. So, frustrated, I reached out again to head office. To which I recieved an email basically saying sorry nobody had contacted me and thanks for letting them know. Still no attempt at rectifying the matter somehow. Just a simple phone call to apologise would have sufficed. In any case I will never shop at Mornington Petbarn again, even though it is literally down the road from me. I now shop at Best Friends or Pet Stock in Mornington where the staff are lovely and helpful.

The dog grooming service is excellent. They genuinely care about the welfare and stress level of your dog and try their best to minimise any anxiety. Our puppy came back happy and beautifully clean.
Best range and service - nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff here, and I always look forward to coming in for a chat. I have cats who require specialist diets and the ladies at Mornington both understand and remember this whenever I come in. Would never go anywhere else!
Beautiful experience, Beautiful people, always get a warm hello from everyone, and always price match plus often get freebies. One of the best experiences you can get out of a pet store.
