What it lacks in atmosphere this spot makes up for in character, delightful staff and delicious food. A bit hard to find, but an all around convenient location. Highly recommended the veg quiche!
DO NOT MISS OUT on this little hidden gem in Rotorua! We ventured away from our hotel after seeing a the $30/each cold breakfast buffet on property. We ended up eating here every morning instead, paid half what the hotel wanted, and had a warm experience. Wonderful food, prompt service, great coffee! An absolute must!
We found Peppers Cafe staff were very welcoming. The scallops were delicious & the smoked fish pie was very nice. They make a very nice hot coffee & served while we waited for the main meal. Will go back again.
Very poor coffee. Scrambled eggs quality was so poor.. even my homemade one is far better than their.
Very old fashioned cafe. They were closed the entire week since they had to do other catering?!
Nice staff. But scrambled eggs were far away from how they should be. Coffee was pale.
Big breakfast tasty and a good value at NZ$14--eggs, sausage, tomato, bacon, toast, hash brown. My wife had crepes with berries and said the coffee was good. Friendly staff. A good alternative to hotel breakfasts.
Homely and food good
Lovely little cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and the food and coffee is great. Highly recommend.
