Visited this amazing little cafe in Elsternwick tucked to the side of the main strip opposite a playground. Service was efficient and friendly. My little ones got to choose off a kids menu and enjoyed some toast, while I opted for a healthy, green breakfast. The babycino was nice and the coffee was okay. Pram friendly. Clean toilets available with a baby change table which was a lovely bonus that not all cafes offer these days. I will be back to visit next time I'm on this side of town. Parking is available on the street or around the corner there is a 2 hour parking lot. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu available and space to park a pram if need be. Parking: Parking available on the street or around the corner roughly 50 spots available in a 2 hour parking lot.
I never get disappointed when I come here. The food is delicious, well balanced, great portion sizes and it's amazing. The place always has friendly staff and the chefs definitely know theirs flavours. I highly recommend. Well done guys!
It may look like your average neighborhood Cafe joint, but Penta is anything but! I wandered in with my partner on Sunday morning, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of delicious food. The Cafe was filling up quickly but we manage to snag a table. We ordered Baked Eggs and Breakfast Bowl with additional salmon. The both dishes had them texture and awesome presentation. Well done, Chef Stefanos Dotas!
I'm glad I chose Penta to celebrate my baby girl's 1st birthday. The food was delectable, well presented in perfect quantity, and the flavor is just so yum that you won't be disappointed even a bit. Do not forget to try their Nutella Penna Cotta dessert, hey! it's simply mouthwatering! I'm happy I made this choice - the guests couldn't stop raving about the Penta's food & drinks, the staff's friendly service, and accommodating hospitality. They ensured the party was successful, and all the guests left on a happy note with a promise to return to Penta with their friends & family. Thank you Penta, for making our evening special and memorable with your excellent service & delicious food.
The taste is good, the color is beautiful, the delivery is timely, and the price is affordable. I will definitely continue to patronize it next time. Like it, it's delicious and satisfying, I haven't been to such a delicious Brunch for a long time
The food is always outstanding in flavour and serving size. They have catered to my dietary requirements without compromising the quality. Best chai in Melbourne!
This place came highly recommended so I was more than curious to check it out. Quickly seated, I was given a glass but no water or menu, these came a bit later. I can never resist Labneh and the dish was a burst of mouth tingling flavour. Cherry tomatoes, chilli, 2 dukkha sprinkled poached eggs, a swab of Labneh served on a board with toasted flat bread. Glad I added some salmon to the order, as the serve wasn't big The overall experience was good but not a stand out, reflecting the highly competitive gastronomic scene in Melbourne.
It’s difficult to find places that do both aesthetic and delicious food, Penta is a winner! The eggs Benedict on rosti was full of flavour as was the okonomiyaki. Star of the show is the Nutella pannacotta which was smooth and sweet, with lots of accompaniments that were textural and tasty!
Brunching at Penta has always been a wonderful one with their most popular Nutella panna cotta dish. Silky smooth slighly whobbly panna cotta paired with lots of delicious and nourishing breakfast essentials. Their chicken parmiginana is cooked to perfection and balanced with purple cabbage slaw.
I lovely catch up brunch post lockdown. We ordered: Sautéed spinach, crispy maple bacon, poached eggs and jalapeno hollandaise on potato and parmesan rostis. With mixed berry coulis, honeycomb, vanilla and sticky-date coconut ice-cream, strawberries and cacao nib Sautéed asparagus, broccolini, kale and green beans on homemade hommus with dukkah, mushrooms, haloumi and poached eggs The Penta Bendedict was well balanced and flavourful. I really enjoyed the potato and parma rosti. The sticky-date coconut ice cream that came with the hotcakes was amazing, so soo delicious. The hotcakes were a bit flat & chewy for my liking and the mixed berry colulis was a bit too sweet, otherwise would have been a fab dessert dish. The fields of green was really fresh and it was great I could replace the spiced baked chickpeas and chilli with mushrooms & haloumi. The homemade hummus with dukkah added flavour to the dish. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
