As a year 7 student of this school, it was kinda nice to start school here, considering that many things here are different but cool, and overall, it’s a passable school. Just please don’t increase the amount of homework…

Going to this school has been an... experience. It's good if you're extremely competitive and can take the constant pressure of topping your grade in exams and massive amounts of homework, but if you're not mentally prepared for that please don't subject yourself to it. I am a student with anxiety who has suffered from the intense competitive atmosphere and the most support I have received is from some particularly kind teachers. Penrith certainly has its good points, but for someone with poor mental health or a non-competitive mindset it is quite difficult.

PSA: Students are only allowed to do Chem and Phys is years 11 and 12 if they get good marks in Year 9 and a bit of Year 10, a period where students are hardly serious about their studies.
