Penrith High School

Student at Penrith Selective High School, true to it's name, the students are smart, and MOST of them are well behaved and most teachers are extremely caring and understanding. Our school came 27th in HSC this year so could obviously work on it a bit, but all students are tryers. Obviously it's selective so you have to get good marks in the exam, but would highly recommend you to put down PHS as one of your options, as students will benefit. Also, travel is fun

Great school. Doesn't provide as much opportunities in comparison to the other selective high schools. Great teachers, however the science faculty absolutely sucks. There needs to be a revamp in the teachers in both the maths and science faculty as they clearly aren't doing a good job. The science tests are very slack, the teachers do not provide much material. The teachers by the way, cannot teach. I repeat. Cannot teach. In order to get my 5-star review to be honest Mr Long you need to revamp the science and maths faculty, and make it easier for students in the school to get gain access into extension subjects for HSC. Not only will it boost the rank and reputation of the school, but higher atars. Teachers like Mr Antone, Mr Cheau, Dr Hill, they cannot teach, and make it harder for students like us to learn. Please save the school, please fix the science and math faculty.
