Great store with a wide selection of tech gadgets and office gear for a reasonable price. The service is friendly and efficient, making shopping a breeze. Easy parking.
I generally don't have any issues with this store. They are usually great, and even though there was a description error in a refurb monitor I got the other day it doesn't worry me too much because accidents happen. However, I have some feedback for you to consider.nnHaving returns processed at the same counter as tech repairs is very impractical and inefficient. I queued up behind 3 customers waiting in line for repairs and 1 being served, I waited, and waited to return my unopened item. Each repair customer takes 10+ minutes because they need to explain faults, get diagnostics, log the job etc. I was needing to get to another appointment so after about 25 minutes I eventually gave up and went to collect my other order. While there, I asked the person at the pickup/sales desk if I could return the product there instead, since there were three staff members there who weren’t busy at the time. Rather than her doing it, she pushed me ahead of the two others who were still waiting at the repair counter. Which isn't fair to them either because they had also been waiting.nnIn the end, my return and order pickup took approx. 2 minutes. Had I not mentioned anything I would’ve easily been waiting 40+ minutes just to be seen for something that clearly didn’t need to take that long. I’d suggest rethinking how returns are handled as the current setup just does not make any sense especially when you have plenty of staff on hand that could be helping.
Should be Zero Stars – Worst customer experience I’ve had with a tech retailernnI ordered a refurbished LG monitor from PB Tech. They sent the wrong, lower-spec model. I contacted them immediately, but spent over a month chasing a response, with repeated delays and no proactive communication.nnDuring this time, the correct model albeit the brand-new, not refurbished version went on sale. I didn’t buy it at the discounted price, as I was still hopeful that PB Tech would resolve the issue and supply the unit I had purchased. Due to their lack of response, I missed that opportunity. When they finally replied, they refused to honour the sale price, despite the delay and the fault being entirely theirs.nnThey failed to respond to multiple emails, prematurely closed the case without resolution, and only responded in a timely manner after I followed up with a phone call — twice.nnIn the end, they offered a refund, but only after wasting hours of my time and leaving me without the product I paid for.nZero accountability. Zero goodwill. Avoid them if you value your time or customer service.
Went in to buy a USB card reader ,and ended up speaking to Ed to get some advice on my new computer build and if what I currently have will be okay to start with for my current needs. He was very knowledgeable and helpful i highly recommend him . And overall my experience at this store is always great.nnKeep it up
Really bad service at PB Tech, only hard carried by their slightly better prices. Asked multiple staff for help with getting an invoice done to make a purchase on an item, the staff i asked didn't know how to do it, nor did they know who could help then walked off, I was left standing around like an idiot looking around for someone else who could help, the only good staff there is Mike Tran, he knows what he is doing. He's helped me a few times and every time the service was the best, he deserves a raise for his execellent customer service. He's the only one who is actually helpful and knows how to do an invoice, too bad he wasn't working today. I also wanted to buy an S25 Ultra. I would have returned when Mike is back at work to buy the phone and get the invoice, but after today, screw PB Tech and their useless staff/Customer service, ended up walking out today and i'll just pay the little bit extra at a competitor. Maybe next visit it'll be better.
