Lovely little cafe! It was very nice and a good start to be asked if we’d rather order with a staff member or the provided QR code always human over tech. Started with a cheeky mimosa, cause why not, then had the most stupidly decadent crème brûlée French toast dish it was EPIC, while my partner had the fish tacos which were also excellent.nCome here for a delightful breakfast experience!
Lovely cafe in East Brisbane, went there for Sunday breakie/brunch.nnCafe is on a busy road but we found parking down a side street.nnThe venue is very busy on a Sunday so make sure you bought ahead, learnt this from previous experience.nnSpied the array of pastries on the counter which looked delicious, as well as their cinnamon rolls which they are known for and made a mental note to order one of those.nnThe staff were very friendly and we were seated quickly. There was another big table in the same room that had lots of young children and the kids were being very noisy. At first I was going to ask to be moved but then we noticed they were preparing to leave. The room were have been far too noisy for conversation otherwise.nnFirst item ordered was the cinnamon rolls- it served warm with soft serve, also ordered bacon and eggs muffin, eggs on toast and the Bennie muffin.nnCoffee and meals arrived quickly, the cinnamon roll was shared between 4 and was a highlight! Make sure you order one if you go. It’s is decadent and delicious.nnI also really enjoyed my bacon and eggs muffin, it came with a spicy aioli sauce which really elevated the dish.nnEnjoyed our breakfast and will be back.
Put us at a table for 2 when we'd booked for 3. When we reminded the waiter of this he just got an extra chair that he plonked in the middle. Was a bit tight! Was pretty poor considering there were literally tables for 3 or more available. Place was grimy, food on the floor and tired and visibly stained furniture. Toilets also pretty gross. Water they provided was literally warm it's not hard to give cold water and very much appreciated on a 35 degrees day. Waitress came to ask if we'd ordered - my fiancée said no, we have just got drinks and are waiting to order food and she walked off - I can understand she may have literally thought we we were waiting meaning we didn't want food yet, but it was very obvious we meant we hadn't been served yet. Food came quickly. It was was good. Nothing special, nothing poor. My fiancée enjoyed her mushroom on toast a lot. My croissant benny was average at best.nnI really don't get the hype. It was a mediocre experience. It's a tiktok hype miss. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't rush to go back.
I’m a big fan of cafes but this place takes the cake. I had the weekend special of pistachio chocolate waffles I hope this becomes a normal item, I’m going to be dreaming about it forever and it was the best breakfast I’ve had in years. I don’t usually go for sweets but couldn’t resist, and I’m so glad. It was perfect. Like high end restaurant style. Textures, flavours and everything else perfectly balanced. Such a great price too. And great coffee with good crema. This is my new favourite cafe in Brisbane. Great staff and a beautiful atmosphere too.
Had a lovely breakfast here. The cafe is nice and bright with great options depending on how hungry you are. Good coffee and the food was delicious. I had the Prawn Omelette and the sauce on the plate was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend
