For a great Aussie steak experience, this is a wonderful introduction to the country. The Norman is a huge venue with ample space to accommodate large parties, and with several different bars located on the property, you shouldn't have to wait too long to get your favorite beverage. As with many restaurants today, you can scan a QR code at your table to order your meal. They have many different cuts of meat from which to choose, so I'd strongly suggest that you give them a look over in the deli case adjacent to the till. The steaks all come with 2 sides, but the menu has many additional options available. If you don't like beef, there are other kinds of meat available. The restaurant is also kid friendly, which is a must from those with small kids. The baked potatoes are not very impressive and seem more boiled than baked. The steaks were prepared nicely, but the flavors are not as robust as other places I've tried. For a family night out or for guests who may be visiting, this is still a great choice!
We always choose to eat at The Norman before all Brisbane Lions home games. The food is ALWAYS exceptional. The service is fast and friendly. Great venue. We crave The Norman steaks in the AFL off season so we make a few trips up the highway from the Gold Coast just to satisfy our addiction
The venue is very busy. Great for large groups or small intimate dinner for 2.nYou need to queue, choose your meat and sides. Once done, waiters drop your order back at your table.nWe will be back.
We booked the Longhorn Room for a private event - service & food was outstanding. We ordered a 7kg Rib on The bone for our group - hard to better this anywhere. If you’re wanting to do similar ask for Frank the Head Chef - he is top class!
Amazing selection of meats , I got the ribs fell of the bone and partner had the eye fillet, cooked perfectly.nNice place , easy to order, and friendly staff
