Nice big venue with interesting decor with exposed beans and iron roof. Most of our food was delicious but my fish burger fillets where a little over cooked and made the burger dry. Pizza and calamari very tasty
Don’t advertise as having gluten free alternative available, if you don’t actually have a gluten free alternatives… this was my gluten free fish taco… I’d shudder to see the gluten free burger and pizza options Also, who decided make your guests order via a QR code and then add on a fee for using a that QR code?!? Awful experience. Dietary restrictions: Awful options. GF taco was just fish, on lettuce, in even more lettuce but no mention of the GF taco option just being a lettuce cup... don't be lazy you can find GF tortillas everywhere. I don't order GF options by choice, and this felt like the chef's were taking the mick out of a dietary requirement.
From the moment I walked through the door, to leaving the venue, the service was amazing. Alex and his team were very accommodating, and even allowed my dog, kiwi, to sit outside. Food was amazing and can’t wait to return. Thanks so much for the fantastic experience.
Great place in a fantastic location. Food was good in most parts and service was great. Only down side was that a Sunday afternoon with family, friends and kids was some what spoilt when they allowed a stag doo in who turned a nice atmosphere into a loud shot driven boozy noise. Shame as it is a lovley spotFood: 4/5
It’s located at an amazing place but unfortunately didn’t tick off all the boxes. Service was extremely slow, our drinks didn’t come until after we had finished our meal ‍. Although the young server took it off our bill, that’s not the point. We were visiting from Wellington and just wanted to have a gud meal to complement our company. The fries were gud. The burger left a lot to be desired. The fish was barely 2/10. All in all I’d give this place a miss.
Right on the seashore, a beautiful and vibrant restaurant. Great for parties and with friends. Must try: Mushroom Gnocchi and Pavalova. Excellent food and extraordinary ambience. Vegetarian options: Reasonable options for vegetarians and the staff is friendly to transform most of the dishes to vegetarian.
Good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Watched the All Black's match and had a great night
Pretty average. Forced to wait 30 extra minutes to get dinner as they had to remove a group of underage people. Front of house staff are ok, not really client focused. Ambience is ok. Type of furniture that is outdoor or picnic styled. Floors need a decent clean. Very average table cleaning. Food was ok but basic pub type food. Price was fair. All in all a 2 star experience
A perfect spot by the waterfront and great venue to celebrate birthday occasions. An amazing spread of hot finger foods and spreads.
Excellent atmosphere and well layed out. Service was top notch and food came out fairly quick. Food was appetising and my steak was cooked perfectly. Desserts were very nice to finish off with. Located right on the waterfront at Wynyard Quarter
