It was pouring with rain in the CBD and I ran into my Gardener and he said let's have lunch... I thought why not and jumped in to a pub style roast beef dinner.... reminded me of London. Comfort food. I was impressed. Cheap N cheerful.
Pretty decent menu, drinks are good and entertainment good. Visit often so im a regular, definately recommend. $21 Steak Eggs Chips Gravy. What more could you ask for haha. Thanks Guys 10/10
THE BEST! I highly reccomend this place for watching sports and having a delicious meal. My sister and I watched the super bowl game here and we ordered a platter and a bottle of wine, we had our own seating booth with a tv to watch in private which was awesome . The food was delicious , especially the nibbles and chips! The service from staff was on point they were very friendly and the service was quick. Great spot!
Not a bad selection of pints on tap, decent outdoor seating and relatively approachable staff. It’s very much a betting shop with a pub attached. It’s very expensive however - classic CBD.
The staff there are fantastic! Super friendly and accommodating. Feels like a local pub in the middle of the city. The food is great and the beers are cold. If you want a good beer and feed at a great price. You'd be silly to walk past. Will visit again and again
I would recommend this place. Great food reasonable prices. 20 bucks for load of wedges, bbq pork ribs and salad. It was feeling like live in 2008. I didn’t expect I will get the much for 20 bucks. 10/10!!!
Food was fine. There were 2 staff members, the man was nice, the woman was really rude. Eye rolling, blunt and talked down to me for no reason. Didn't enjoy the experience
Had a really bad experience here, pommy fella that works behind the bar was an abusive hot head and extremely rude, took 30 minutes for 2 cocktails to come out, then they missed one of our meals and tried to tell us we didn’t order it obviously knowing what I ordered he started getting heated after arguing which left me to say his service was rude and terrible, he then got told to f##k off outside by one of the lady’s working in the bar, which he did but as we leave he started yelling he was going to break our jaws and kept telling us to come fight him with us not saying a word and walking the opposite direction. the steaks that did come out were over cooked also. Definitely don’t recommend
I had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment where my 1st impression towards the meagre bartender was, 'Oh wow, look at that hipster with the purple hair and beard. He must be so edgy and cool. I'm sure his rudeness is just an act of rebellion against the societal norm. It was like he was doing me a favour by suggesting beers and taking orders worst mistake ever. The meal's highlight was the vegetarian nachos, which were nothing short of a nightmare. The cheese was so stringy that they scraped it off the floor. And instead of the traditional beans and salsa, it was a peasful nacho with 24 carrot nonsense and beans de francais. The chef needs a raise for serving such appalling food and insulting the very existence of Tex-Mex cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a terrible dining experience and a robotic expression service.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable early lunch at The Right Track Sports Bar. Friendly, helpful service and the food was served super fast. Meals were a great price and some of the best we had during our stay in Auckland. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling in again
