Very nicely appointed place with good view of the waterfront. Not an extensive menu but plenty to choose from. Staying at the Mantra it was 2 for 1 breakfast.
Much better than a 3.9 . We visited for breakfast all 4 meals and drinks came out in good time. We all said one of the best meals in mooloolaba. Staff friendly and coffee greatnCan be hot if you sit by the big windows. Bit hard to find but just up stairsnHighly recommend

Best breakfast we’ve had in Sunshine Coast so far we ordered zucchini fritters & the salmon scramble and they were both delicious ! Loved the ambience here! Highly recommend!
We had lunch at Pavilion Wednesday July 8, 2026, we had booked for noon, birthday lunch. Upon arrival we asked the host if we could have a cocktail at the rooftop bar before coming back downstairs for lunch. She was happy to accommodate us. We entered the bar which had two other tables of three and four people inside. There were some lovely tables in the sun 3-4 overlooking the Esplanade, the young waitress told us we could sit anywhere but at the tables in the sun, she reserves those for large groups, I asked if she had anyone booked and she said no they may gain ‘walk ins. I went to the bar and ordered two cocktails, I asked the bar attendant if we could move to the sunny table, stating we would happily move if the bar should get a large group, the other lady said no as she had said the same thing to the other two tables sit anywhere but on the round tables in the sun. I would have thought on a slow day at mid-week the staff member could have been more customer centric, as locals we tend to frequent places that deliver great customer service. What could have been 4 cocktails was only two, as sitting in the shade was cold and dreary on such a beautiful winter’s day. During the time we were on the rooftop only another five people entered leaving sunny tables still available. I think the rooftop staff need to learn to be flexible, service was 4/10. We returned to the dining floor, and the staff were great, the host was friendly and efficient, the coconut margherita was one of the best I have ever had. I had barramundi which was lovely and my friend had battered cauliflower. The only constructive criticism I could add is to add another one or two vegan options there was a mushroom risotto. Service in the dining area was 10/10, food 8/10, tasty and good value. Restaurant fit out is lovely and bar area aesthetically designed.
