Had an amazing experience here. Staff at reception was so lovely. I called after my son had a fall and had a cracked lip. They had told me to just bring him in and he will be looked at. The wonderful nurse had a look first then Dr Danny Le. Both treated him so well and I walked out feeling happy that someone made the effort to take him in and see him today. Thank you!
Our family has seen some good doctors there, but they have left the practice. The reason for the low rating is that we have had quite a number of appointments messed up or cancelled without informing us. If it happened once or even twice, we might still bear with it. But it has been a number of times. The administrative support really needs to be better.
I see Dr Danny Lee, and he is absolutely brilliant. It is refreshing to find a doctor who genuinely cares, and helps you find solutions to your medical issues. I feel confident that when my family is sick, we will be well looked after at Parkmore Medical.
Unfortunately the better doctors seem to have left and the clinic suffers from ongoing poor organisation. Recently I had a telehealth consultation to seek treatment for anl building ear infection on a Saturday. I was told my script would be emailed to a pharmacy shortly. After waiting an hour I go to the pharmacy as arranged but the script hadn't been sent through. The clinic was closed by this time with no one able to assist, meaning I had to wait until Monday with a painful condition to call again and get the script sent through. The receptionist was cold about this, saying "we email them through at the end if the day". After emailing my concerns to the centre manager this type of practice could potentially have disastrous results I received a call of apology with the manager saying "that's not how we operate". Unfortunately just a couple of weeks later I had a second telehealth appointment and arranged a script to be sent through at a particular time. I wait an extra hour after the supposed pick up time then go to the pharmacy- no script again, meaning I have to call up the centre and remind them to send it through. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about and had to go and chase it up with the doctor. Although I've had some decent care at times it is so hit and miss I will be avoiding in the future.
We had Dr. Dilan Ranasinghe and he was terrible. He wanted us out of his room as soon as possible, probably for his lunch break. He brushed off any questions we had about an inflamed throat and just prescribe the first things that came to mind without discussing the side effects and the actual causes to our problem. Terrible diagnosis and terrible assistance. For someone who is meant to analysis and provide answers, he did the worst job possible.
Excellent medicial facility. My wife was bitten by a spider in Melbourne and we live in the country. I called into the first medical centre I could find near our hotel in keysborough and have to say the ladies in reception, the two nurses and drs were wonderful and very caring. Highly recommend this practice. Shayne Benedict.
Went there couple months ago and they were all lovely! Doctor Lee was great, highly appreciated. I didn't have to wait, got called to see my doctor on the time on my appointment, which is a bonus! Usually I'll have to wait 30 - hour at other clinics!
I have attended this practice multiple times, and have never been treated as terribly as I was by Dr. Danny Le. Not only was he exceedingly smug and rude, he also misdiagnosed me with a serious ailment, when it was in fact an ingrown hair. Being a Doctor isn't just about exams and knowledge, but also compassion for others--something this Doctor seems to be lacking in. Reading through the other reviews, it seems that there's a pattern of this behaviour. I implore Parkmore Medical Centre to take some form of action, or I intend to report the matter to the AHRPA.
We should of known it was going to be a bad experience from the get go. My sons appointment was scheduled for 12:30 however it got moved to the afternoon and no one bothered to notify us. Its understandable that these things do happen from time to time and processes break down however it was only the start of a poor experience. When my wife attended the re-scheduled appointment, during the consultation Dr. Danny Le was too busy taking personal phone calls to sort out his car tyres and showed no interest in answering questions or helping. The consultation was cut short as my wife did not want to waste any further time with a Doctor who shows no professionalism and does not care. Save yourself the trouble and visit another GP that is professional and will spend time to help diagnose or answer any questions you have.
Not sure why people they have bad comments. This is the first time we are here to have our 7 year old to get their first dose. When we stepped in the clinic is nice and clean receptionist is very child friendly and nurse Georgia is so patience towards my son who refused to get vaccinated. Everyone that I met are very friendly and professional, would highly recommend if you want to get your kids to be vaccinated!
