I found the Parkhound service really helpful, in that they offered parking options far cheaper than the airport, while providing easy access to communicate with staff. Staff were always helpful and effectively assisted me when I had queries. Will definitely be using this service again & letting friends know about it!
TERRIBLE platform. Very slaw to respond, poor communications. I had to call my times to get my issue sorted. Every time I call I have to start explain the situation again from the beginning. They don’t take or add note on my file , which mean they do not progress in my complaint. Example. It take you guys about 7 months to get my Bond back. No quick communication between you and the Renter, I tried to get the access to the car park spot paid already , but it takes you three days to communicate to me and the renter. The renter was not helpful at all, I send him the confirmation email I received from you, but he replied back to me , that I need to communicate with you because you guys did not do your job and not informed him. At the end I did not get access to my first day parking which I booked and paid for whole month. I had to pay for alternative car park spot because I did not get any help or reply from you and your renter. Despite all the massages and email I sent to Parkhound and to the renter. I only had two experience with parkhoubd . They are the worse
So convenient and easy! My friend who took the one car space provided with our accommodation had an absolute nightmare waiting around for hours for garage keys etc. I on the other hand drove straight in to my Parkhound spot which was so easy to find, parked, walked 2 minutes to my accommodation - wonderful!
TERRIBLE platform!!! Not friendly to renter at all! 1. You can never find the building location. What you know is just a street name. Everyone knows that how long a street is. When you consult the customer service, you need to spend at least 15 min for phone waiting and they would never give you the address at all!!! 2. Many wrong addresses and hoax you can find on their lists. Parkhound gave little monitoring and checking to maintenance their platform. Before you make the order, you have no where to verify the information. You cannot obtain any support from customer service.
I have been looking for a Car Park on an on-going monthly basis. As soon as I made an enquiry, the Team from Parkhound were on to it and I was able to get a spot sorted in no time. Prompt communication was the key factor in using Parkhound. And very helpful. Regards
The website includes a phone number and live chat function, however both of these are unmanned. The only option to contact someone is through email whereby the wait is 48 hours on a working day for a response. Although the staff were helpful, if urgent help is required this can be very frustrating. Additionally, 2 of the lots I tried to reserve were listed as available on the site, yet only to be told afterwards that they were unavailable on the dates required. One of the lots I tried to reserve accepted payment, however the owner of the lot did not reply to messages, and only upon calling the owner did I find out that the lot would be unavailable during the dates requested. Overall although not a scam I would not recommend use of this app - a lot of hassle only for me to find a better rate and much simpler transaction simply looking for a park on FB.
Fast with signing in, and when you try to give them one month of notice to the owner and through them, the message did not even send to the car park owner. Ignorant customer service blamed you back and smacked you with another month of rent. Just be aware of the catch even me and my partner have read the contract properly. Plus the online portal just needs to do sth with it.
Very positive experience. Couldn't have been easier to book a parking space. The owner was extremely helpful & professional. Will definitely use again & recommend to others.
While the concept is great, the implementation is poor - managing booking requests is made difficult by a confusing UI which incorrectly calculates dates/times meaning that bookings often accidentally overlap, and offers limited flexibility for people listing their space. Why they couldn't implement bookings in a manner similar to AirBnB, I don't understand - though it may be a simple funding issue. The iPhone app is next to unusable, and full of bugs.
Hey Parkhound do you ever respond to emails or phone messages? I phoned and was left waiting for 5 mins, until I was forced to leave a message and then the call dropped from your side. So I tried emailing, got a canned response back saying the agents were working from home to "flatten the curve" - WTH? That was done over 2 years ago! The message went on to say agents are not available on the phones - why was there not a phone message saying that when I called???? I have placed an ad to rent out my carpark nearly a week ago - it is still under review. Seriously?? How long does it take to review a simple ad?
