Our intimate restaurant brings the French way of eating to Melbourne. Using only the finest, all natural ingredients we create authentically French dishes.
116 Rathdowne Street has been a French restaurant since the early 60’s, originally home to The Bullfrog. In 1998, 25-year-old Chef Gabriel Dimitriadis launched Paris Go, . After working for years at the Melbourne Fish Markets during his schooling, Gabriel could not ignore the ease on how a knife felt in his hand and thrill of creating and delivering fresh properly made dishes to his family and friends at a young age. He deferred his studies and undertook an apprenticeship, exploring a number of cuisines until the fascination with the many variations the French cuisine offered.
Gabriel's passion lies in the traditional and rustic nature of Fine French cooking, and that is what he and his team creates. With one of the largest French menus in Melbourne, drawing inspiration from every corner of France, Paris Go will not disappoint.
