Great fun place for a family treat, but rather expensive at $18 for an adult, $14 for a child and $8.50 for a preschooler. Plus if you want to hire a frame for the little ones it’s an extra $5.50, and if you want better skates than the standard super uncomfortable skates it’s an extra $3 per person! We also hired a locker for $3 for 3 hours (option available $5 for 5 hours) Luckily for us we had a great time so didn’t feel too ripped off. We didn’t opt for the better skates as we didn’t want to dish out the extra cash and our feet certainly paid the price. The skates here were probably the most uncomfortable I have ever worn and my mother tried changing her skates after just two rounds on the ice as she already had sores on her feet even with two pairs of socks. The replacement pair were slightly better. We didn’t get a frame for my preschool daughter originally (again due to the extra cost) but after she saw a few other kids with them she wanted to give one a try so I gave in and hired one. I was happy to be given a choice of a standard ‘U’ shape frame or a ‘whale’ shape frame that my daughter could push and use for balance or she could sit on the front of the whale and be pushed around. This was actually a lot of fun and gave her confidence. After half an hour with the whale frame we swapped it with another family for a standard ‘U’ shape frame. Both kids were happy to try the other type of frame so win win. After a few hours we went to the cafe for lunch. The food options were very limited. Basically chips, wedges, chicken nuggets or hotdogs on stick. We got a couple of chicken nugget combos (4 x chicken nuggets, sauce, chips and coke) for $9 ea and a cup of wedges for $4. The wedges came with a little pot of sour cream but that’s all. Pretty average food, but what you would expect really. Filled our tummies so we could get back on the ice for more fun. All in all I would recommend this place for a fun, albeit expensive day out.

Nice skating rink. Good for a birthday party, though it can be a bit hectic. Staff are fairly friendly.

Great to have this Ice skating venue in West Auckland. It's well maintained and my daughter loves to visit this place.

It's a good option, as a once in a while thing. I felt a bit ripped off when I was charged for every single thing and through the roof. $7.50 for a support frame for kids? Really?? That's an extra $23 for us. Staff are very young and often too complacent or nonchalant. Nevertheless good facilities and nice large rink. As a once or twice a year thing, it's a good treat for the kids.
