I was literally came all the way from surfers to eat there.. it was disappointing to know that the taste of the food not the same anymore like I use to eat in Surfers paparich.. unfortunately it is now closedown and I missed so much those foods. I was hoping for the same taste but it wasn’t so bad but definitely need to improve curry chicken taste, and the curry was full oil only but no curry. Second, the sambal and roti canai CANNOT have that much sugar.. adui! That is not malaysian version.. it is so much sugary and I really sad man! Even my Latino friend who used to eat paprich surfers said that it not the same anymore.. otherwise, the presentation was so lame.. look at the picture.. I am not going to come again.. it is not because I hate your shop.. it is because sad to eat my favorite food in a terrible condition.. please improve guys.. focus on the food quality as you might have chance to get Gold Coast crowd to come yours if you do the better cooking.. customer service have no issues only the food quality which is super important is missing.. buckle up guys!!!

Loved the food we ate today. Taste was slightly different then previous but still heaps better than the garden city branch. We had the vege laksa which was a bit too creamy but still delicious Not spicy at all. We also had the vege vermicelli stir fry. The sambal was a bit too sweet and didn't have enough oomph or spiciness to it but overall the dish was flavourful.

I ordered my nasi lemak for takeaway and when I got home and went to eat it, every bit of chicken that was given to me was pink all the way through and underdone. it was very disappointing as it was inedible apart from the sides. The roti that I ordered as a side was also underdone and very doughy.

Drinks were amazing. I ordered a hot barley and it was yummy. Chicken rice was fantastic with it's presentation and taste. The noodles section was abit tasteless and table service was alright.

Decent meal here though prices add up quickly. $25 for lunch if beef rendang with roti and a coke. But very good roti. Quite a lot of seating as well, so wasn’t tough to get a table even on a Friday lunch.

So glad our wandering brought us to this place! The food was delicious, the service fantastic and the atmosphere was great. The perfect place to eat during a Brisbane winter storm. The price is really affordable and the portions good value. I can’t recommend this place enough. We really enjoyed the Iced White coffee too!

Quick service. The food was quite a generous portion and reasonably priced. I had a chicken noodle soup. The chicken was nice and moist and the soup was tasty. Nothing to complain about.

Food is good but can be better. The quality has dropped lately. Menu has a lot of variety but quite pricy. The drinks are now served in smaller, plastic cups but still charging the same price as before. Their nasi lemak, mee goreng, chicken curry, dry noodle, the vegetarian options and teh tarik are quite authentic Malaysian. Just inconsistent at times eg laksa is bland and oily. Their toast was served with a frozen butter, hard as a rock. Service is friendly but sometimes lack attention to detail. For example we had to repeatedly ask for water, serviette etc. everytime we go here. Takeaway container is $0.20 each.

Good Malaysian food The Malaysian food here is pretty good, but not remarkable. It's not really authentic - I feel that the flavours have been adjusted to suit Western palates. However the service is excellent, I've been here a couple of times with a large group of people and the food came out very promptly we preordered our meals. The prices are quite reasonable too! It's pretty good for a chain food operation!!

Very nice food served in large portions and the staff are really nice. The food took a while to come after we ordered so we had to rush and take our leftovers away as we had to go back to work. All payments by card, whether debit or credit, attract a surcharge.
