Horrible food. Ordered Shu Mai and Beef Tripe. They’re clearly not fresh and have been reheated. The Beef Tripe were in solid goo and the Shu Mai were tough in the centre. See the photos for yourself! They’re not authentic dim sum, avoid like the plague!!!

Parking: Road side parking is available but sometime it is hard to find a Roadside park at lunch and dinner time. I tried this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. The dishes were very tasty and the staff were very happy and attentive. Get a verity of meals and do a banquet with friends it's a great way to try everything! We parked on the one way and walked down it wasn't far or there's parking outside which is easy after 5pm
Food was average, not very hot too, also when we ordered the medium rice, we thought it was supposed to be fairly large however when we ordered the large bowl of rice the guy and the fat waitress made fun of my family of four for ordering a large bowl of rice, yet the fat waitress were making fun of us, how ironic.
Food was good but service was terrible. At first, we ordered jasmine tea, she the waitress took the menu paper, written it down and she just thrown the menu paper on our table. When my friend gave back the menu paper in the cashier area after we finished writting, she was doing lip smacking appears to be irritated. When my friend paid the bill, they had minimum conversation. The waitress did not say any greetings or thank you after paying the bill.
Food is fresh and tasty. Decor is beautiful. Staff are friendly and efficient. Tea selection is huge. If you like yum cha you’ll love this hidden Dunedin gem. Pity they don’t do egg tarts but apart from that, this place is excellent. Try the kumara hedgehogs for dessert!
Very yum yum cha . There are options for vegan and vegetarians. I would recommend the crispy fried pan cake. For vegetarians, the try the tofu vegetarian option. Hopefully in the future there are more options for vegan and vegetarians alike but for now I would say it's one of the best yum cha restaurants for vegetarians or vegans in Dunedin
Delicious food and very attentive staffs. The place is a bit small but clean.
Good food for a quick yum cha lunch stop. Service was prompt and very helpful. I have heard great reviews from friends about the Portuguese custard tarts but ours were soggy. Amazing crispy and chewy fried pork dumplings pastry dish that seemed to be very freshly made. Pictures on the menu help very much when selecting what to order on the cards, instead of carts coming around the restaurant. Large upstairs area that we prefer over the smaller noisy downstairs.
