Great food limited menu decor appealing with a fusion of Asian and European. Attentive staff. Pricey but worth it.
The ambience of the place was nice. It was clean. Although we went on a Sunday for lunch, it took sometime for the food to arrive. We loved the Hawker Roll and Sticky Pulled Pork. I take off one star because the chicken was over fried which gave it a burnt after taste and stringy texture. The wait staff was excellent.
This place was our saviour on Sunday at 3pm when most of the other restaurants were closed! Nice restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. Our waiter helped us go through the menu. Although we went as a couple, I think it would definitely be a great place for group dining as a lot of the dishes are made to share. The Nasi Lemak was particularly good, and so was the lychee salad. They could consider having one or two more vegetarian options especially in the starters, eg veg dim sum.
Good food can be a bit scarce in Dunedin, but this place really hits the spot. Very interesting menu with lots of flavour, along with some great craft beers to match.
Food is amazing!! Love this place :
Comfortable atmosphere, fantastic food. Good service. Plenty of menu items to enjoy, and would highly recommend the Thai Coffee despite perhaps not fitting to the Singapore street food theme. Great for lunch or an evening outing with friends or family.
Went there once. A bit more expensive than expected but great food. The waitress continually tried to get everyone to order more food by saying the portions were really small and not shareable between two people. We ended up having some food to take home. Good atmosphere as well.
Fabulous place for light, delightful food and lovely staff who create a great vibe. Decor is gorgeous and even after enjoying weekly dining here for years I never stop enjoying the colours and shapes of Asia mixed with lamp shades from china and others from retro NZ buildings, and colonial chairs and classic french bistro tables. Fantastic aesthetic. A feast for the eyes and the palate.
Definitely a good place, warm ambience, apt decor and really good service. We had the dumplings which were good, siu mai was so so, Malaysian Dahl was good as well, and the vegetable stir fry with the rich toasty eggplant was superb. The best was the Portuguese egg tarts though!
Food: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Environment: 5/5 Service: 5/5 2 Visits Great tasting food full on flavour. Quite expensive for Asian street food but cheaper than buying air tickets. First visit I had dirt still on my lettuce and a duck bone in my duck salad. The soft shell crab is a must. The food is quite salty and will leave you dehydrated for a couple of days afterwards.
