Papa Bear

I had the Chilli Scramble breakfast. Beautifully plated, fresh ingredients and well constructed on top of the sourdough bread. A really nice mix of flavours which I throughly enjoyed. Latte was a good temperature, didn't burn my hands holding the glass and a good coffee mix, not bitter more sour. People working there are very friendly and service + meals were delivered efficiently with little wait. Credit card accepted without surcharge. A great Cafe which I strongly recommend.

Only sat down for food here for the first time the other day after going past for a coffee a lot of times over the years which have always been nice with a full flavour. But I gotta say.. The best Banh Mi in the whole area! I use to have to go to Greensborough or Warrandyte but now I'll always come here for my fix.

Best Eltham morning cafe. Always have gluten free options. Excellent coffee and friendly service. Lots of regular customers.

Coffee wasn’t very nice. Milk was too hot and the coffee was over extracted. Quality has gone downhill compared to a few years ago.

Google “best coffee in Eltham” and you find Papa Bear. I concur. This hidden gem delivered on its reviews. 5star coffee and I’m a Heidelberg coffee snob I might add,with some decent brunch options, and a warming atmosphere.

Coffee is consistently good. Probably the best in Eltham. Pork rolls are nice too.

Quaint little hidden away place with a friendly home style feel. Relaxed food and atmosphere yet still tastey and welcoming. It is inside a walkthrough strip and seating is limited so great for couples but not groups

Lovely little coffee with friendly fast service. A little more variety wouldn't hurt but what they do have is if a high quality.
