We ordered the 8 type of different flavoured marinated pork combo and it was delicious. It’s actually meant for 2 to 3 people. We shared among 4 and ordered a seafood pancake both total cost around $82. The pancake is thin and crispy at the side. Thumbs up but a lil bit pricy compare to other Korean restaurant.
Korean bbq restaurant that specialises in marinated pork belly. Large varieties, great value and fun experience. Their signature 8-type-of-pork set is a fantastic deal. At only $59, it gives you 8 different marinated pork belly, vegies to bbq, side dishes and also a big pot of seafood soup. Each marinate was distinctly different, and all tasted delicious. Meat was soft and oily as you'd expect from pork belly. Staff will visit your table every few minutes or so to do the cooking and cutting for you. It's a pretty small place and the queue can get pretty long.
We went to Palsaik for the first time and it was also our first Korean BBQ. It was delicious and the 8 types of Pork Belly menu was perfect for 2 person to share. The staff helped to grill the pork and after asking them more details they explained how it works. The smoke was ok and our cloths didn't smell too much but you have to consider that it's still an open flame and that will cause some smoke. The one star we reduce is for the explanation of the barbecue. We explicitly said that this is our first time and we have no experience. Unfortunately no one explained in detail what will happen but in the end you have to be patient and we had a lot of fun. We will go there again.
Excellent BBQ. The eight flavour pork was new for me and they were indeed tasty. The service was good. As with any BBQ restaurants, the ventilation is lacking. My hair and clothes smelled like BBQ.
Eight flavors pork is the most recommended one. Service is good and all the waiters are friendly cause they always help you to roast the meat. Reasonable price for such a big meal, 8 different flavors pork plus a Korean style hot pot vegetable salad two rice for 67 dollars I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends
Loved how the food was displayed and brought out but that's all I loved. Liked how the staff cooked it for us too. The food was good. Not bad. Lost a star due to poor attention to detail. Wanted bottle of water, waiter forgot. Had to wait for another staff as it didn't seem they had enough on. Eventually got attention from another staff to bring water. No tissues given, had to ask. And probably not the most comfortable if you are sitting near the grill side. The staff also never give eye contact to check if all tables are alright. Stuffy in here as well despite windows opened. Would I come again? No, been to better Korean BBQ.
Went there for a dinner date. It wasn’t that busy even though it was Christmas night. There are plenty of bbq meat set to choose from, depends on how many people you go with. The 8 flavoured bbq porks were excellent. As I remembered pork meat is marinated in different sauce: honey, curry, original, etc. At first we thought it wasn’t enough for 2 but turned out it was. Really fulfilling for 2 people. Great value as well. Decent and helpful service. Staffs will come and help you to grill the meat, which is great and disturbing at the same time. Overall pleasant experience. Will come back to try more bbq meat sets on the menu.
Ofc you have to get the 8 flavours pork. And being Korean bbq we love to cook the meat ourselves to our liking and take our time to eat. We also look forward to the sides. 1. Sides were disappointing. 2. The 8 flavours pork, well they all taste the same once cooked, very subtle differences. 3. The waitress cooks the meat for you and doesn’t matter whether you have finished eating or you’re just chilling.. She will cook it for you and by then time you’re ready to eat, well everything is over cooked and burnt. The wagyu didn’t even taste like wagyu after that. Then you’ll have a pile of cooked meat waiting to be eaten. The highlight was the cheesy corn, but you can’t really get that wrong can you? Can’t say we will be returning.
So hidden korean bbq gem. And they open exactly 5.30pm, so you will see this place like a ghost dark house before that! The best deal with 8 types of meats, soup, salad, rice for 59$.
So friendly people! BBQ is beautiful taste! Reasonable price love ya!
